I think this one is the best, so far, of all the gel ds trainer series. Some noted the toe box being smaller. I found that it actually creates a more snug and supportive feel all around. Lateral support is great as well. Used them for sprint drills or training with a sled. Super light! Absolutely love them. Had the ds 20s before; skipped the 21s bc I didn't like the weight or fit as much. Solid training shoe.
I ordered two pair of shoes. One was clearly brand new and the other had been used. These were advertised as new. I am extremely disappointed in this especially when you have two items exactly the same to compare against each other. Someone did not perform a quality control on these. This matters for many reasons and a big one is that I don't want to run in shoes that may have already been molded by another runner's imprint.
I am regularly a size 6 1/2 but these were so small, tight, and narrow. I returned them and ordered a size 7 now. They fit much better. I have low arches and night these shoes for that reason. They do feel weightless which I like. I will try them for running and see how they feel. I will update this post.
These shoes feel like they have no insole in them. The bottom is so thin that I can feel when I walk/jog over something. Does not help my arches or feet pain.
Would give 5 stars bc shoes are awesome! Disappointed that they sent the wrong size and now I have to go through the hassle of returning the item.
Got get me another pair!!! Fit great. Feel great. Not to clunky or heavy. Great colors.
My wife has bought these shoes many time over the past years. They provide her with the support she needs. They are light and comfortable.
