These shoes were comfy and didn't need breaking in, though I will say I first changed the insoles to the Cushworks one I use for high arches and metarsalgia.Anyway, it's been a while and I still like the shoe.Two Cons:* the shoe is not white; it's beigey. (Oh btw the pink is salmony/coral)* An upper seam, where rubber meets fabric, gapped right away...on each shoe. Over time, these will likely get larger. A friend just bought these in a different color and hers did the same thing.

Same ASICS look but cheaper quality than their tennis shoes

I usually wear the ASICS FlyteFoam speed 3 tennis shoes to play pickleball. Then I found these Pickleball shoes for practically half the price of the tennis variation so I thought I would give them a try. They are comfortable and look good but the quality is noticeably cheaper. The glue at the toe part came apart after a couple uses, still it only affects the esthetics. But then the bottom of the shoes worn through after only a couple of months. Yes I am a heavy wearer, but by comparison the tennis variation lasts about 6 months for me.
