Love Asics!
I started buying Asics several months ago when I noticed one of my fitness instructors wearing them, and highly recommended them when I asked her about them. Love that they come in all sorts of colors. They fit great, maybe a tiny bit tight on the toe area but once you were them a few days the tightness is so subtle, you get used to it and cant even feel it anymore. I work at a preschool and am on my feet 8 hours a day there, and these are very comfortable bot during my work day and at the gym. This is the second pair of Asics I have purchased from Amazon and I will continue to purchase them as I have had a very positive experience!

Sole is hard..not soft and cushy.
Great looking shoe! The sole is not soft and squishy like the kast asic I had. I did listen to other reviews and ordered 1/2 size up from the ladt pair I had and these fit..but my toe is a goid inch and a half from the toe but I think the toes would be too narrow if I would have bought my normal size since they don't offer wide. I wore these out on slushy snow and didn't slip and when I went into a store with wet shows I didn't even squeek..they seem nice and grippy.

Long wearing, excellent foot support
I have had these for several years now - they are the best fitting shoes I own. I've got a narrow heel - these fit perfectly, no sloshing about - great support. The soles truly are Gecko - I wear them in the winter to help prevent slipping.

Tight
I usually love ASICS running shoes but this pair is tight and narrow. Based on the review, I specifically ordered half size up. However it turns out the problem is not about length but width (or height?). I have narrow to middle width feet but wearing this pair made my front feet numb after jogging for a while. I guess the height of the front section is too low to give enough space for feet to breath (hope it makes sense). I already tried it on road so I couldn't return.Oh, the pro of this pair is the rubber bottom which provides sufficient traction to run on dirt trails.

Great for hiking in Arizona!
I love this shoe! I wanted a hiking shoe for a trip to AZ and UT, where I was hiking for hours and needed a shoe with a wider base designed more for stability and climbing. This shoe did not disappoint! It’s cute, fit true to size (I wear a 7 1/2), and was very comfortable hiking in 103 degree temps. I’d buy it in other colors if available! I did not find it to be too stiff. I also have a neutral stride, and this shoe is made fairly neutral, without the annoying inner heel support over pronaters often need (that hurts my arches). I’m sure inserts would fit in nicely though if needed. I have no complaints with this shoe! The shoe strings are designed to get dirty and dusty as they are thinner than a regular shoe string. For the price, I cannot recommend this shoe enough! I’m an ASICS fan, and these are good ASICS shoes!

Great traction! Makes a wonderful boat shoe (Who knew?)
I bought these shoes to be my "cold weather" sneaker. The style was advertised as having a wide tox box, which gives a good amount of room for the toes. I found though that the toe box wasn't deep enough for my toes. So I replaced the insoles with Dr. Scholl's Ultra Thin insoles, and voila, the fit is perfect now. These shoes have become my favorites. They are very comfortable, and the last is rigid enough to provide good support for my ankles. Their best feature, though, is the "GeckoTrac" outer sole -- the traction is amazing! I wear these all the time on our sailboat -- whether the deck is wet or dry my footing is stable and secure. I hope Asics uses "GeckoTrac" on some of their other women's shoes -- I would buy those in a heartbeat!

Flat Arches
I usually love ASICS because I have high arches and they provide a lot of arch support and are nice and light. These were very flat soled and tight for my regular size.
