i have been using these running shoes for years - they have been in all of my races. perfect fit, and my legs, knees, hips, feet are never sore. i have about four of these shoes right now, spread out btwn my car, home, work, and boyfriends house - never know when i want to run! these shoes are a great fit, and great support. i have very average feet, with no rolling in or out when i step. very average arches. i would say if you dont have any specific foot needs, these are a very good product. i had a pair of other shoes from a diff brand who used to give me knee pain - but i have never had pain a day in my life from these. These are marathon running shoes! i retire them around 300 miles, which is generic of any running shoe. i am 140 lbs and run regularly. i can get away with using these shoes until about 400 miles though, but i use those pairs that are 300+ more infrequently and as spares. great shoe!!!

Not Enough Toe Box Support

The toe box is narrow and doesn't have as much support as the previous Asics I've worn. The heel is very supportive and nice and cushiony. I love the bright colors! They look nice but I don't think I'll buy these again. I will stick with Asics though because, in general, they offer the support I need for my plantar fasciitis and last pretty long. (I do buy two pair at a time so I can switch them out).

Perfect fit, great for underpronation

So far this is a great shoe! I like the Asics brand; I have an older pair of Kayano style that I just love, but they're starting to wear down. I have a bunion on one foot, and pretty much anything I wear irritates it. So I thought I would do a little research and find a shoe that would fit a little wider/better to lessen the irritation and pain. On the Asics website, they have a 'find your perfect fit/shoe' questionnaire and detailed information about pronation (how a runner's foot rolls laterally between footfall and toe-off). Turns out, because of the bunion I have a little underpronation (more pressure on the outside of my foot when walking/running) and this shoe was one of the top choices for underpronation. I was a little skeptical when I ordered them, but wow do they fit great! And no irritation to the bunion whatsoever! I also went with the wide shoe, to provide even more room and that definitely helps; just pay attention, as not all of the Asics styles come in wide. If only all my shoes (heels, too) fit this well! I also really like the colors... I'm pretty picky when it comes to style/looks/color, but these are great!
