Great shoe for the swelling in my foot!

After a tendon transfer a few months ago, the swelling in my left foot hasn't gone down as much as I'd like. Now that I'm out of a boot, none of my regular shoes fit, so the search was on. This ASICS gel-fit is great! Although I still have significant swelling, I am able to wear these in relative comfort (my good foot LOVES it lol). They are super-light and good support inside for regular walking and physical therapy. What sold me was the "sock' tongue. The whole top of the shoe feels like a heavy duty sock with a nice sole. Got them yesterday, wore for a few hours, then all day today so far and I love them. Still have my Crocs for the wider/taller toe box and comfy feel, but these ASICS have made it so much easier to walk. I got a size larger than normal, and it's snug on the healing foot, but good fit for my other. The expandable nature of these ASICS and sock tongue are the highlights of this shoe, in my opnion!

A good walking shoe, but no arch support

I like the ASICS Sana for use as a very light weight walking shoe. It does not provide any arch support and very little cushioning, so it is definitely not for running. I added my own orthotics and found the shoe very comfortable for errands and dog walking. Previous, older versions of the Sana, ran a little small. But this Sana cross 3 was a better fit.I usually wear a size 10 in most shoes. My old size 10 1/2 Sana was a little tight in the toe box, but the new Sana 3 in size 10 1/2 was a larger shoe overall and it allowed me to use my orthotics which were made for use in dress shoes and are a little thinner in construction than the ones I wear for running. I hope this is helpful for your fit questions.

Great shoes for walking and light intensity workout !

Pros: Really light and soft sole shoes; Great for walking . Ok for light intensity cross training or boxing !Cons: no arch support so I cant see them being used in any high intensity activities if you have major pronation in your feet. I tried them in my spinning class but due to their soft sole they didn't offer any support to my feet on paddle.Sizing: From all the brand I have tried for sport shoes (Nike, New balance, brooks and ASICS) I believe ASICS run a size smaller. I am a size 7.5 in other brands but for these I ordered 8.5. I believe i could have also ordered an 8 and would be fine but I needed some leeway for thicker socks just in case. Please note these shoes come with a sock sleeve so you just can do without socks (personal preference)All in all, these are nice pair of shoes for light intensity activities and great for walking !

Casual, comfy, and cute

I bought these to wear to/from yoga and pilates and to run around town in (i.e. shopping, etc.) and they are perfect - cute, comfy and easy to get on and off (I don't even untie them most of the time). I like these shoes so much, I may get them in black because I'll be sad when the gray ones get dirty and worn out. I work in a casual setting and have worn these to work often...they are cuter and more streamlined that my running shoes. I wear Asics Kayanos for running and working out because I need support and cushioning. I wouldn't ever run or do a plyometrics class in these because they just don't provide that much support, but if you don't have high maintenance feet like I do, these may work for you for real working out. Size-wise, they may run slightly large. In Asics Kayano running shoes, I'm always a 10.5. In dress shoes, I'm a 9.5. In these shoes, I'm a 10.

My feet looked like big hefty anvils with these guys on....

I bought these sneakers to replace my Asics Gel-Fit cross trainers that are essentially the most awesome pair of sneakers I've ever owned. For some stupid reason, Asics made them defunct, even though reviews are glowing over those shoes. These shoes, however, I nowhere near the high expectations I had for them. I don't have a super wide foot, but these shoes felt super narrow and tight for my standard size 9. It felt like I would need to go up at least a half size, and that's not even talking about wearing socks. They made my feet look like large canoes and I didn't even bother walking around in them, because I hated them the very second I put them on. Asics, bring back the style, comfort and fit that everyone was enjoying in years past! Why fix something if it's not broken??! PS. Asics is my sneaker brand of choice, and this is an attractive shoe when it's not being worn. Only reasons for the 2 stars.

wear and tear at 4 months???

(Five stars)....Love love this shoes!!!! I wanted to break it in and wore it when we went to a children's amusement park. We were there pretty much all day - walking and running after the kids...It didn't hurt my feet at all. I am happy with my purchase!UPDATE: After less than 4 months of using this shoes, I am sad to say that it did not meet my expectations. The insoles are already wearing off. I was wondering why heels are hurting and when I checked inside, the insoles are wearing off already (for less than 6 months of wear???) I have other shoes (other brands) that is older than this shoes but the insoles are still good as new. Sadly, I am not planning on buying another pair of these and will stop wearing this shoes all together for the same reason.

Beautiful and lightweight

New shoes for my HIIT workouts. I love Asics they are the one of the very best fitness brands. These pair are the Gel Fitness pair and they are so lightweight. Perfect for jumpinga around. If you are looking for good shoes for zumba or any bodyweight/cardio workouts or classes these are a winner! Only reason i gave a four is because they are kind of narrow. I have small feet and they're a bit narrow for me. If you have wide feet these probably aren't for you. Also they're more hot pink than the peachy salmon type color the pic showsUpdate: these are my favorote shoes ever. Been working out 1 hour 4 days a week in these babies for a year and they are still holding strong!
