Nice wide toebox, good arch support and cushion
Love these!! I've worn ASICS for probably 10-15 years and have a narrow heel but wide forefoot. That said, I have always been a true 9M (B) in most ASICS sneakers, at least until this last year. Many of their shoes seem to run too narrow in the toebox lately - except this one!! This shoe has plenty of room in the toebox, no squeezing or rubbing. but also not loose. This model also has great arch support and lots of cushion. I highly recommend it!

Solid shoe with great support
I have severe overpronation and needed a stabilizing shoe that would support my feet when I walk on the treadmill and outside. I researched the best shoes for overpronation and this shoe was one of the top contenders. I am so happy I bought them. They have excellent support, are comfortable, and don't hurt my feet or legs when I walk. Plus, they look nice. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a stabilizing shoe for overpronation.

Happy with this shoe, *almost* perfect
I so wish Asics would stop changing their shoes! I was so happy with my GT-1000 6. The 7s have no arch support. This happened with the Exalt, another model I used to wear. I need stability with good arch support. I do not want to pay close to $100 for shoes that need custom inserts. I tried these and I am happy enough to keep them. They are not perfect, though. I have been 8.5 in Asics for awhile. The 8.5 is a little big, but the 8s were definitely too small. I have to use the extra hole for the laces (at the top) to keep my heel from slipping. But, they have good support and are comfortable. I would rather have a little extra room in the toe than not enough. I kept them.

The only tennis shoe I'll wear.
I buy this shoe because my physical therapist recommends the support it gives me for an old ankle injury. It gives tremendous support while being incredibly comfortable. There is no "breaking in" period with this shoe. It is comfortable from the first wear. I highly recommend it. I've tried other brands, but they don't come close to the support and comfort I get with this shoe.

Very Mixed Feelings . . . .
I have mixed feelings about these shoes. I got them because Asics made them for severe overpronation, which I have. Plus, I have been wearing shoes worn out in the arch area, as well as shoes slightly too big. That has led to some real knee pain and even shin splints. These Asics have reduced the problems somewhat, but not entirely. They are very well constructed and have a roomy toe box. My guess is they are going to last much longer than lighter, thinner running shoes. But I don't particularly like the solid blue color or their heaviness. It's summer and I like to wear lightweight, colorful running shoes with no socks. These you can wear with no socks, but they are thick and heavy. In addition, they don't grip some wet surfaces well outside, and will also slide inside on ceramic tile floors when their soles are wet. That's not good, especially when you have knee problems.

Love these shoes!
I was having pain along my medial border of my foot due to falling arches. These shoes took away my pain within 2 weeks! I'm back to buy another pair 9 months later because they finally wore out, and they don't have my size and I'm so upset. It's hard to find shoes that I can wear comfortably. Please bring back size 13W! I work in healthcare, standing and walking many miles a day and these are the best shoes I've found in years.

Great purchase!
I bought these shoes because I like to go running, and I have a flat arch and tend to overpronate. These shoes have been really good for me! I have had them almost 5 months and I still enjoy wearing them. I am a nurse, and sometimes I will also wear them to work. I have found that my feet feel less worn out, after 12 hours, in these shoes.I don't usually like to get dark colored running shoes, but, the more I wear these, the more I like the color. So far, I have not had any defects with the shoes. They're holding up great! As far as size, I usually wear a 9 1/2 or a 10. I have learned with Asics shoes to buy size 10 and it works really well for me. So, I would agree when most people say buy 1/2 size up. I also have wider feet, so I purchased a wider size and the width has been good.Definitely recommend this shoe!
