Must go at least 1/2 size up - Toebox narrow on a narrow-to-average foot
I normally wear a 5.5 regular (or narrow in a few brands) in all but sneakers. I typically get a 6 regular in sneakers (including ASICS). These sneakers were tight in the toebox/squeezed my pinky-toes in. A half size up in these sneakers = an additional 0.5 cm in length, but the Toebox is a little wider as well.Definitely heed the online reviews and go up a 1/2 size—even if you normally size up a 1/2 size in sneakers…add 1/2 size to that!I re-sized to a 6.5 (first time I’ve ever fit in a 6.5 shoe) and they are sooo comfortable to walk in. My step is secure (I’m a supinator/underpronator), I feel the bounce under the heel, and the midfoot cushion & stability from the midsole and “trussic system” is excellent. The overall shape, cushion, & support brings my foot comfortably through the gait cycle with a pleasant, noticeable bounce as I transition from heel to mid foot when walking. I’m happy with my purchase after the exchange for 1/2 size up, though a little more foam in the front 1/3rd of the midsole would have been nice to make it a little bouncy/cushioned like the middle and back parts of the midsole. More of a rocker/rocking style could really make these shoes fast and fun to wear, but there are pros & cons to everything.
