This is my 17th pair, as I wear daily with either scrubs at work or on the tennis court. Podiatrist recommended Asics to me after foot surgery. ONLY ONE THING that Asics has changed lately for the worse- they are sometimes MORE NARROW and also they are adding elastic straps across the arch. My wide foot with high arch is making me order less. Hopefully they will go back to the wider fit with no elastic straps. I cut them out for a better fit.
I just got these and have worn them only briefly today. I normally wear a 9-9.5 B/medium width. Based on other reviews I read I ordered the 9.5W. At first I thought they were too tight. But after walking around in my house for maybe 5 min IDecided they weren’t. They don’t pinch anywhere and my heels don’t slip, which happens in almost 100% of shoes I try. Although snug, they aren’t tight. I can still wiggle my toes even with my orthotics in and my feet don’t slide forward when stopping suddenly. That’s all I ask for in a tennis/pickleball shoe.
I like wearing these because they run narrow for my double A feet. The shoelaces are way too short and hard to tie if you use all the lace holes.
I bought these for outdoor pickleball and they work great. I ordered my usual size for ASICS and they are a bit tight in the width but I've worn them for several months and they have loosened a bit. With the side to side motion these give me great support and no more lateral metatarsal pain
I did a lot of research to find shoes to wear to play pickle ball. These are great. I have a narrow foot and they fit very well.
Lateral support is fine although the shoes are on the narrow side. What really makes these shoes unusable is the non-stretchable/non-adjustable strap woven into the lace region that lowers the ceiling of the shoe in the front. Because of this strap, the top of my foot can barely get in. They are not adjustable. So what's the point of the actual shoe laces? My old Gel-Resolution 6 didn't have this issue and were great. I am not going to purchase $119+ (without tax) shows to cut off a part of it to be comfortable. Returning.
Very comfortable and great tennis shoes ( side to side motion) with good sole. I use this for walking also. I love this color. asics always gives me great satisfaction
