ASICS Women's GT-2000 10 Running Shoes, Best shoes I own!
I love my ASICS Women's GT-2000 10 Running Shoes! I have had fallen arches, plantar fasciitis, and bunion surgery. From the moment I put them on, my feet felt like the shoes were made for me. They fit perfectly, had a comfortable footbed with GREAT arches. I work on my feet 8 hrs./day and never thought about my feet all day! The supportive base felt like I was walking on a cloud. They are now my favorite shoes for walking, working, and friend get-togethers. Did I mention my boss commented, "Love your shoes"!

Very comfortable
I bought these on sale but I would pay full price. I have several ASICS running shoes but these are by far the most comfortable. They have great cushioning and stability. I wear them for walking not running because I can’t tolerate impact but I bet they would work great. No blisters or toes rubbing like I’ve had in the past. I walk about 6 miles a day and so far so good. My feet are a bit on the wide side but a medium fits fine. I wear a 6 in dress shoes, sandals etc but I always do a half size up on sneakers and these are true to size. I will order again if I wear these out.

Very comfortable and sturdy shoe.
Ive had foot surgery for plantar fascitis and this is the only shoe my doctor prescribed. Ive worn ascics for 35 years . Im now a retired RN and these were my work shoes.

A Good Shoe.
Asics brand is the only one that really fits my awkward foot (very narrow heel, but average toe-box size). I ordered my usual 10 Narrow and the fit is excellent. I wear 9 1/2 Narrow in all other shoes, but in Asics the 10 works better The positives: I love them! This shoe is ultra lightweight. The comfort insert is immediately noticeable and there was no " breaking in" period. They feel so good on my feet! I also like the dark gray with fuchia pink trim...no too girlie but still feminine. The heel fits perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised with the roomy toe-box. The only reason I gave this shoe less than 5 of 5 is that I find myself wishing for a little more arch support. Also, I am wondering how well the ultra lightweight materials will hold up over time. Otherwise, I am very happy with this purchase and can easily recommend!

Comparing GT-2000 10 vs. GT-1000 11.
This is a good quality pair of shoes but I decided to return them. I bought both GT-2000 10 and GT-1000 11 for comparison. For me, I prefer GT-1000 11 but others may prefer GT-2000, so I'm still giving GT-2000 5 stars. My comparisons and why GT-1000 11 works better for me:1. Width: GT-1000 is narrower than GT-2000, and feel more "glove like" for my medium width and low volume feet. If you have wider feet, GT-2000 probably feels better.2. Sole Padding: GT-1000 feels more fluffy and padded than the GT-2000. GT-2000 padding feels more firm and stiff. GT-1000 11 feels a bit higher off the ground than GT-2000 10.Caveat--In general I don't like stability shoes because they're stiff. I'm in between neutral/overpronate. In fact, my favorite <5K running shoes are Nike Free Run 2018 (very low padding). BUT, I would like to rotate with a pair that has more padding. GT-1000 fits my need without being too stiff or with too much stability support.

Great support and cute design!
I've had my old running shoes for almost 5 years at this point, and was in DIRE need of new ones, especially with how many races I'm running this year. I tried on the GT-2000 12 shoes in the store, but opted to buy an older model online because of the price point. I've only ever worn Asics and Brooks, so very familiar with the brand.These shoes quite literally feel like I'm running on air! The first few days of breaking them in were a bit rough (some pain in my shins and around my arches, but not too bad) but it quickly subsided. I typically wear a womens 10 and mens 8.5, and normally skew towards men's shoes because I have feet on the wider side. These shoes are definitely a snug fit for me, but in terms of structural sturdiness, these women's shoes support my ankles AMAZINGLY well. I also have pretty drastic arches, and I feel that they support those as well.I also generally like the fit of of womens shoes better - these are a bit more tapered than the mens counterpart. Definitely recommend them!
