I replaced the ASICS insole with my own specialized ones and they fit great. The size follows typical ASICS sizing (I normally wear a 9 in other shoes but a 10 in ASICS). I ordered these because they were recommended by a runner's website for people suffering from flat feet. They are expensive but they have the usual ASICS quality. Overall I'm satisfied with these.
I have worn these (the GT 3000 then now the replacement GT4000) as my everyday shoes for a number of years. Being a severe over-pronator these do the job. I always had weak ankles and walked on the inside of my shoes growing up. It even makes it easy to turn my ankle :( these give me the support I need to keep my feet up straight. I also noticed my knee pain went away when I started wearing them. :)
I ordered a half-size up and it is a good thing I did. Feel great and look nice!
The shoes are very comfortable, fit good, and a great value for the money. I only have small issue. Online the color is very distinct. The mint on the Asics design is clear and looks great against the blue. However upon receiving them, the mint in the Asics design looks silver. I was a little disappointed in that. Quality wise though they are worth the money.
It took a little while to find the correct size. I always wear an 8 1/2 regular shoes, but found that after returning several pairs of shoes, 8 1/2 wide is perfect. They are so very comfortable. I love them
I used these shoes for a week for my daily walking workout and my feet hurt so bad I can't work out. My tendons on the inside and outside of my feet are so sore from these shoes. I even tried changing the insole and it didn't help. I do not pronate, but the shoe is clearly angled to help with pronation. The whole foot bed is designed to push your feet out. Aside from this issue, the shoe is beautiful. I got the blueberry color which is kind of dark blue/purple and got so many compliments.
I have been running for years and always end up with some knee or hip pain due to my feet overpronating. These shoes gave me great support that I didn't feel a thing once I took these for a run! Love these, they are my new go to pair- just wish they came in more colors!
