Fit as expected, just a little wider on the toe
I play tennis at a competitive level several times a week and I was wearing Adidas and my arches were killing me. I switched to these Asics and I tell you the issue disappeared almost instantly. In all tennis shoes one should always size up 1/2 a size, and you need to with these. These are a narrower fit, not super narrow, but if you have a wide foot I don't think they would work. Great support, but lightweight and stabilizing. Love them.
Great price. Ordered 6 times.
Horrible blisters straight from the devil himself on both pinky toes. There is some kind of horribly placed seam where the middle of my pinky toe rests. These are also what I think is a narrow toe box. After healing, I had to put moleskin padding in the shoes AND wear multiple bandaids on each pinky AND wear super thick socks to prevent further blisters. I paid the price multiple times again when the moleskin would move or I used one band-aid instead. Finally convinced myself to buy another new pair of shoes in a different brand and even went with a wide width so this crap wouldn't happen again. Love my other brand without a poorly placed death seam.
Excellent support and comfortable. I have very wide feet and high arches. I do not get “wide” rather normal width. I play singles almost exclusively on hard courts and they will last me 4-5 months. Love them!
I was trying to find the same shoe I bought before, unfortunately, I was unable to locate it. There was any cushion for my feet. They are quite uncomfortable to wear. I will have to get some gel inserts to put in them for comfort. I do a lot of walking, so cushion and comfort are important to me
Playing pickleball, I go through the tread on a pair of court shoes in about three months. I've bought and liked several Asics brand models, but not this one. I have narrow feet that typically fit just fine in size 7 shoes, which is what I chose. The top of the toe box has the material concentrated together so that the toe box is really tight. I tried loosening the laces in order to survive a few hours of play, but have to immediately take them off afterwards. Except for the tiniest toe box I've ever seen in a size 7 court shoe, they are great: nice tread and fabric, good color and otherwise comfortable, but I will never buy this model of court shoe again.
