Just what I expected and more
Look exactly as pictured, perhaps a little bit better than I expected. The brown is a bit lighter than pictured but I like it better than if they were a really deep brown.Soles are good. Flexible but sturdy enough to be OK if you step on a rock. Foot bed is as expected.Fit a bit off at first, they pinched my little toe. But I loosened the velcro straps, wiggled my foot a bit and now they're perfect.Adjusted the heel strap back just a bit and that made them perfect for me.Highly recommend.

These sandals lasted me about 16 months. They have been through everything! Submerged over and over, through terrain ranging from desert to mountain and everything between. At this point the velcro on the straps is worn out. When I say worn out, I mean half the hook side is gone and the soft side is a puffy shadow of its former self. This shows quite decent construction, although my search to find a brand that will survive... well, me... is ongoing.

Probably would have gone 1/2 a size larger
I like this product. I think they are a little to narrow for my feet, but that's really because I like wide shoes. They fit fine and are very breathable. I use this when I'm just out in about and when I go on long walks on the paths around town. Very comfortable once my feet got used to the narrowness of them. Probably would have gone 1/2 a size larger had I known. I still use them and love them now though.

I am a girl that usually wears a women's size 10. the 8.5-9 fits me perfectly. My foot is on the narrow size and these look and feel really good so I'd say that they are a little small and narrow for men. For an inexpensive hiking sandal, they are very well made and feel really good. I love the yellow color.

Not impressed
I've been looking for a sandal of this design with the removable backstrap for the last seven or eight years. The sandals I received do have removable back strap which I was very pleased with the upper portions of the sandals i e the straps are what were depicted and described in the advertisement. As far as the soles it was a different story, the inner soul is made of the same thing that the outer soul is made of which is foam rubber. In the pictures and descriptions the inner soul was described as being leather and the outer Sol's appear to be a tire like rubber. Walmart has a similar sandal except no removalable backstrap this spring for $15. Also ordered a 10.5-11, and it was closer to a 10, so make sure if you order this item you order at least 1 size larger. Being a 10.5 I can still make them fit. Over all not impressed, especially at $40, but I'll keep them and wear them.
