Great backpacking choice
Very happy with durability. 65 total miles so far and still in good shape. 45 miles was of especially tough rocky terrain and some small exposure to puddles and rain with no issues. Fit well with narrow feet and ordering one size larger was perfect for thicker socks and backpacking. I found grip and sole ideal for my preference for a lighter shoe that doesn’t carry a lot of mud. Ankle support is what I expected for a mid-ankle. Switched over from Merrell shoes for narrower fit and not disappointed. I did not test in cold winter weather.

Close to true to size
You can always count on the brand I’ve worn them for years in the heavier boots. I generally will wear a 13 or a 14 these I ordered in a 12 and they fit perfect. They’re really nice boots not so heavy.

lightweight, very durable and comfortable with a slightly wider fit than most approach shoe/ boot
These shoes are amazing. I am a hard-core, landscaper, outdoorsman, and farmer I blow through all kinds of approach shoes, trying to find something comfortable and lightweight to not ruin my knees over all the years. These are solos or a slightly wider fit then Sportiva and all the other brands, and have been extremely durable for the type of work I do They are so lightweight comfortable and having a three-quarter top provides the extra support I will never buy another shoe after this. I was a ten-year fan of the Boulder racks, but it was just too tight my toes and shrunk up with the moisture. These don’t tend to shrink due to , the material used awesome shoe all around 100%!!

Truly disappointed in these Asolo Boots
Do not buy these boots. I work on a concrete factory floor 50-60 hours a week. I had 2 pairs of the ASOLO Falcon series boots that I beat the hell out of and replaced every ≈30 months. When looking for a new pair, I purchased these because I like the color and my other ASolos were top notch. Boy did I make a mistake...First they are no where near as comfortable. After Having them for 2 months, I knew that, but figured I would want a year of of them minimum.Second, the look like junk. After 3-4 months I noticed a glue leaking out of the seams at crease points which you can see in the pictureThird, each pair of other ASolo boots I had, the laces wore out after about 18 months. I would reach out to their customer service and they would send me a complimentary set. Awesome. This time the laces didnt last 6 months. I reached out and they offred to send replacements for 25€ ($26.76) WTF is that.I am done with these boots and most likely done with the Asolo brand...

ASOLO clip broke off
I purchased these size 12 in Feb 2025 and a lace clip broke off . I may have used them 15 Sundays in a row. I have another pair of boots I wear to work during the week. can I get them fixed or am I screwed?

Great boot!
Really like Asolo hiking boots. Use them mainly for work, and will insert a special insole inside the boot so will have to go half a size up from my usual size to make sure the boot doesn’t feel tight around the foot. Ended up getting them when they went on sale so that was a huge plus since these type of boots will usually go for $150+. Love that they’re water proof, living in California there isn’t much rain but when the rain does come, I’m glad I have these great quality boots on my feet to keep me dry. Since I went half a size up for the insole, the fit was just perfect and they are really comfortable for being on my feet for 8+ hours a day.
