The classic at it's finest
Many years ago there was a variation of this boot style that I would purchase, manufactured by Vasque. They eventually discontinued that style and I'm guessing Asolo picked it up from there. Asolo has always been a top notch brand when it comes to hiking or winter boots, so I was very glad when I discovered this style coming from them. More of a plus is bc they're made with Gore-Tex insulation. Even so, they're water resistant but not waterproof, but adding a quick layer of a good water repelent adds that extra layer of protection just in case and compliments it very well.I've used them in snow even though they're hiking boots but I'm pleased to say they hold up considerably. I don't recommend wearing them during a winter storm but if you're forced to they'll absolutely hold their own without much issues except warmth. I like that they're super light weight and don't fatigue you feet. They're super soft inside and feel quite comfortable (I have a wide foot and they don't feel snug at all). The grip on these boots is quite exceptional especially in the rain. Overall I'm so glad I found these.
