Cool sandal fits like a shoe

Based on reviews I ordered a size up for my D width feet. Fit is unique for a sandal, feels more like a shoe .. as a result I was able to run in them which was a cool surprise. Grip is awesome on rocks. Footbed has some texture which was noticeable at first but not in a bad way. With the pad over foot these are great for PNW summers (cool temps) but may get warm in the desert!? Astral has a different model that is more open for hotter climates.

Decent quality - sizing ridiculously off

Starting to fall apart after (2) wears

I bought these shoes in February 2023 and have worn them twice since--both on river rafting trips. On the last trip, i noticed that the stitching was failing on the left shoe. Unfortunately I'm now outside of the return window, so I'm stuck with these POS shoes. If you buy them, maybe you'll get luck yand they will last (3) or (4) times.

Sandal for a Non-Sandal Wearer

I like these sandals far more than I have any reason to. They're waterproof, easy to put on and take off, sturdy and I like the color. Here are some observations:They fit me perfectly... but I have feet that are hard to fit, so if you have "normal" feet your mileage may vary. For me, they're perfect. Also, the inside of the sandal has "raised bumps" that you either like or dislike. You can consider it accu-pressure or just a PITA (or foot) but I like it. My foot isn't going to slip around if I'm wading and that's a plus (for me). I also believe in the accu-pressure idea.I'm a little worried about the flimsy tab that you hold onto to stabilize the shoe when your putting it on. Keep in mind that the heel straps just hook onto the "buckles" and so it's easy to remove the sandal-- but I didn't notice this at first and it made for some "interesting" times. It looked like a buckle so it wasn't until I really studied it that I saw that it's just a hook. Disguised as a buckle.I don't wear sandals. Except for these. I think that deserves a five-star review just by itself. I'm not a sandal expert-- but these work for me.
