What a great buy! The overall quality seems to be pretty good plus the thick bottoms, and they also have a nice Velcro strap for a better fit. Size seems to be pretty spot on, they are not too loose which is a great thing when it comes to slippery rocks and water. My son loves the colors! He says they’re comfortable. He has wide feet so we were worried about that.. Super lightweight, we’ll see how long they last but I would definitely purchase again! They’ll match the majority of his trunks, so for that I’m also happy!

Affordable minimalist shoes for kids
I prefer that my kids wear minimalist shoes but the name brands are so expensive! These are so affordable, yet check all the boxes for barefoot shoes. I know these are marketed as "water shoes" but my kids wear them as their everyday shoes and they work great. They always hold up until they are ready for the next size and sometimes they even hold up through two kids. My kids find them comfortable and the size is as expected. They do have trouble getting them over their heels independent but I don't mind helping them, so that's not a problem for me.

The shoes are very comfortable to wear. Kids really enjoy the feeling of being in the water. No need to worry about slipping. But I recommend buying one size larger. Personally, I feel these shoes run a bit small, especially for boys.
