Best outdoor boot! My first pair lasted 10 years, and my second pair just arrived. Runs large, so I sized down a full size, and it's perfect!!!!I need nonslip and composite toe for work, and the support and comfortable sole. Love them!
These boots fit a little loose but I double up on socks in winter because I work outside in construction. This is my second pair of this boot. I love them slip on are great, the composite toe is light weight compared to a steel toe and does not get as cold in winter. The boots stay water proof till you wear the stitching down or the sole which is natural, no boot is waterproof Forever. I like these boots because they are rated for electrical hazard also. They have no metal in them so you can work in places where metal detectors are a big thing like airports.They are a great boot!!
I bought these boots to wear at SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) events and exceed what I expected. I wore them near constantly for two weeks at our largest event that just occurred. I will most like wear them when I get back into heavy armored combat. The only 'issue' I had was the sizing. Usually I wear a 7 1/2 m but ordered the size 8 wide which were too big for me to wear,however, I liked them so much I ordered a pair in my size but wide width. The new pair were also a tad large but mostly due to my ordering the wide width when I shouldn't have. Not a fan of the pink stitching so will be going over that with dye.
These boots run big .. I'm normally a 6 which is what I ordered and they are at least a half size to big. I decided to give them a try anyways and within about a week, they broke in. Super comfortable despite being big. Don't make my feet sweat probably because they're big. Will buy again as there aren't many options for this style boot in my size..... The price and comfort to have the style boot I want outweigh the fact they are a little big. I'd rate a 5 star if they were true to size but I'd rate a 3 star if other options weren't so limited.
These have a (pink!) spongy lining in the calf and instantly they felt great. Outer performs like leather. An excellent and economical boot. (I ordered a size up so they are plenty roomy.)
I ordered a size up like suggested because I have wide, flat feet with bunions, and I should have ordered my exact size. When I first bought these, the leather on my right boot made an annoying popping sound but it's somewhat gone away now that I've broken them in. But I still feel like I'm slopping around in Andre the Giants shoes. I am a driver and load my truck in a warehouse and these hurt my feet so much at first I actually had to take them off at the end of the day and run around my warehouse in my socks. But, at the end of it all, they do the job, they protect my feet, kept them dry and warm, but they are definitely my winter-and-when-I-have-no-other-option boots.
I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 sneaker. I ordered a 6.5 and it is still a little big on me. Feels comfortable and durable so far. Not too heavy.I bought these boots to do chores around the yard and walking through the woods / snake protection. Waterproof so far.
