This shoe is very flexible, comfortable, and cushioned. The insole included is of good quality, but I use a prescribed one, which made it even more cushioned. The sole of and shoe is very durable (used in hard, rough court about 3 times a week). Good size and fit, especially if you have a wide foot. Only gripe is that sometimes your hallux (big toe) can rub with the mesh.
If you find these shoes for under $100 buy them.They are comfortable right out of the box, great for wide feet, breathe pretty well, and the tread grip lasts a reasonably long time.They also come in half sizes for a better fit.
This is my first purchase of Babolat shoes. It’s hard to find quality shoes for athletics in wide widths, but I found one here in the SFX4. This shoe has a roomy toe box as advertised and is well built. Overall all this shoe could have a little more cushioning, but not complaining because it fits my wide feet. Would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for 2E-4E width
claims to be a WIDE shoe, and while the toe box is likely not 2x it is likely at least 1x. so okay sort of okay on width, but ... this shoe is basically 'straight' on the inside edge, whereas most all footwear the toe box expands out as you move past the ankle. as this one does not do that it puts pressure on the inside edges of the foot andif this (imo, design flaw) was fixed it would be an awesome shoe, as the rest of it is well built and very comfortable.picture shows the Babolat on the left, and the New Balance on the right. the extra room in the New Balance toe box is obvious.as a side note, given the condition of the box, this shoe has likely been purchased and returned ... many times :(
Very good for wider feet (I usually wear like a 4e in nike) and have been very durable so far. I usually play 5-6 hours a week and have had these for several months with no issues on hard court.
Great shoes
I liked playing in the SFX3 because it was a stable show with a wide toe box. I don’t tolerate tight shoes and this line is working for me. I have struggled with Mortons Neuroma and have become very picky about my shoes.
