Great shoe for outside
These arrived today and they are exactly what I was expecting! I got them larger than needed right now, because I intend to use them as an outside play shoe or a daycare shoe. They are super easy to get on or off and completely machine washable, which is what I was looking for. I ordered them in a 18-24month size, so they dont fit my little one right now. However, that was intentional. I wanted them more for next summer.When my little guy saw them sitting in the clear plastic packaging and went nuts. He wanted them right now, more like yesterday. As soon as I open then and gave them to him, he took them to dad to put on. (I HAD NEVER SEEN HIM SO INTERED ON SHOES) They (of course) were huge on him but that was intentional. So that was great! They are also very wide and rounded in the tow area. They are also super easy to get on and off, which is also what I wanted. the color and price were also great! All in all, they are great for what I was looking for.

The perfect toddler shoe
In my opinion you're looking for two things in a toddler shoe in this order of importance:1.) Healthy shoe for baby's feet. This means a wide toe box that lets their toes splay naturally, a relatively thin and light sole that is flexible and doesn't disconnect the child from the feel of the ground beneath them, and a light/comfy upper that breathes.2.) Something easy to put on in the four seconds the child sits still to let you out the shoes on their feet.These shoes are a home run in both.In the video I shared you'll see how flexible they are. I can attest to them being quite light and pleasant to the touch as well. The toe box is nice and wide. The insole is even wider than another pair of "barefoot style" shoes we have in the same size, so there is lots of room for curious little baby toes.The Velcro closure is quick and easy, and the shoe opens up farther down the side than I thought. Makes it a lot easier to feel around and make sure baby's feet are positioned correctly and verify sizing is right.I don't think I'd change a thing about these. They're EXCELLENT shoes for little developing humans.

Nice quality, runs big
These are made with a nice soft fabric and surprisingly sturdy rubber. I like how open the shoe can get to help get it on wriggly feet, too. It seems to have a nice shape. They are bigger than I thought they would be though, my kiddo won’t grow into them for several months, and might be over two before they’re a good fit. If I had realized I would have bought a size smaller.
