These shoes are like socks with soles. The sole is flexible enough to bend but still thick enough for walking outside. It also comes with removable white insoles. These are easy to put on and my toddler has no problem walking around in them. The 18-24m size is slightly large for my 26lbs 14-month-old, but fits as expected since I sized up. While I do wish it had the US sizing labels (4/5/6) instead of months, the design is cute and the quality is great and I'm happy with the shoes otherwise.

The size 12-18 M was too long/big for my 9-month-oldSince I can't rate how they stay on the foot, the max I can rate it is 4-stars at this time.There is NO size chart on ad site, so it is a "guess" to know what size shoe sock is within each categoryI have an older child, and typically the size for shoes goes by inches.so I started out in a 5-1/2 shoe for child # 1,and she walked at 10 months.so, I actually "guessed" on the size, (better too big than too small), yet, I don't have shoes yetfor my 9-month-old who is pulling her self up on her own from a crawl position.she can find any stable furniture or toy and pull herself up, and I wanted shoes for her to fitin the next 1-3 months, I believe these will be too big stillHave no idea if the true 9-12 shoe/sock would have fit.My 9-month-old is wearing size 18 M onesies, mostly for room over the cloth diaper and perhaps a longer torso.She is an average size girl baby.but for shoes, it is not possible to go UP too much and have them be usable.so, this particular pair I cannot use.will note there is a hard plastic dot on the bottom of each shoe, assume this is from injecting the plastic into the mold.I made sure that inside the shoe, there are no rough spots or bumps.seems to be usable when her foot gets bigger.
