Good for wide feet
Our toddler (age 3) has wide feet. In sneaker-type shoes, she wears a 7.5 wide, and they're getting tight. We got an 8 in these. They fit a little oddly in the back—the sole forms kind of a ridge, instead of the back of the shoe coming straight down. Kind of like when shoes are too long, except the excess is in the heel here instead of the toe. It might just be the fact that our kid's feet don't conform to standard sizing.In any case, it does seem to affect the comfort or mobility. The stretchiness and hook-and-loop tab make them easy to get on and off. You can even manage pulling them off without opening the tab, but somehow they don't come off with running and playing. I also like how the toe curves upward slightly to help avoid trips.These are currently the favorite shoes and have been used for running around on several playgrounds in the short time we've had them. Great for climbing.They get filthy looking quickly, but I can't take off any points for that, since it applies to pretty much any shoe with a white sole. I have had to wipe mud off of these and they do clean fairly easily, and the mesh dries more quickly than other standard materials.

The little picture on the listing showed more of a cream and white shoe, but these are pure white, which is actually better for me because we're going to use them for my daughter's "Boo" from monsters inc costume. Perfect sandal for kids trying to learn to walk
These were my toddlers favorite shoe!! As a kid who has chunky feet they were easy to put on and were airy. I like that it had a protected toe area. They were a little snug with her chunky foot in the strap area at first until I stretched out and got worn in. I am already thinking of buying her current size for this coming season.

Breathable Velcro baby shoes
Easy on, easy off. Better for summer wear. As they are very breathable . However like all other kid shoes, uneven surfaces can produce a trip hazard. As the rubber sole that comes slightly over the toes, can catch on uneven surfaces.
