Must-have for cold weather
These are definitely the warmest and highest-quality slippers I've ever owned. They're roomy enough to have socks on underneath. They do have what appears to be a more durable material on the bottom, but I'm not sure how well they'll hold up if you walk around in them a lot, especially outdoors, but that's not what they're meant for. These are amazing for lounging around and keeping those feet warm. They're light, and the insulating material stays in place where it's needed, a problem I have had with the cheap knockoffs of these. These are quite pricy, but if you tend to lounge around in colder areas and your feet get cold, they're worth every penny.

Easy on and off
Perfect shoe size and very warm. The price has increased since I gifted them a few years ago, but on sale they were worth the buy. There is no arch support but they aren’t slippery on hard wood floors and again, very warm. They slip on so they aren’t hard to get on and off.

Comfy warm feet.
I purchased another down bootie from Amazon before these and returned them. These are superior in several ways, they are light, warm, the seams have not split, and the material is "down tight" - don't have little feathers poking through to stick you in the foot!Another review reported the sole cushioning bunched up. I have not had that problem. You cannot walk up and slip your feet into these, even with a long shoe horn. Rather, you have to put them on as you would socks, for us old timers this is an inconvenience, but one I can live with. The sole material is fairly thin, not so good for outside at all. I walked on our wood deck after a rain and the soles are not watertight. Tents and indoors, just great. Could use thicker soles without detracting from comfort.Update: I still like these a lot, but the soles are not up to abuse. I've worn them every day and sometimes venture out to the concrete floored garage or back wood deck. There is a fix!! Hot melt glue gun. I was concerned it might melt the nylon sole fabric, so at first just small spots of glue so it wouldn't impart too much heat to the fabric - they lasted a week. Next I laid down some serious rows of hot melt, full length of the sole, and about 3/8" apart, holding the nozzle close to the fabric to get good contact with the glue spreading out a bit on each side of the glue line. This worked well. I used about 30 inches of 7/16 (11mm) all purpose glue. Advantage is good traction going up and down smooth wood stairs and more. (glue gun I used heats to just 395 F or so). Happy with my glue sole slippers!

Wonderful Product
I've owned 3-4 pair of these over the last decade or so, and used them happily them until there were holes worn in the soles. My most recent Baffin slippers fit unusually tight fresh out of the box, to the point that at first I wrote a negative review over the matter. But in two days or so they loosened up sufficiently, and are now perfectly acceptable. Clearly either something has changed or I got an extra-tight pair that slipped through quality control-- these were very definitely a bit smaller than the others. In the end, however, they stretched out well and are as warm and comfortable as all the rest have been. So...These Baffins always were and still remain the best slipper-type footwear on the planet, that I know of. But I look at my recent experience and other reviews, and have to wonder if the sizes aren't maybe creeping smaller and smaller to save on materials. Take the sizing chart seriously, and (while accepting they'll stretch some) make sure you try them on before the return window closes. For my part, I very much hope that Baffin reads this and ensures their future as a company by remembering that while their product can be reduced very slowly over time in size, their customer's feet cannot. I can't replace my feet, but if I must I can and will find a new brand of slippers.

Crazy Warm and Grippy on Ice
This is our second pair of these great outdoor slippers. Here are the highlights:- Very light weight.- Grip bottom is unbelievable.- Warmer than most, if not all, snow boots. My wife's feet are NEVER cold in these.- This pair is a little lower than the older model making them easier to get into.- This pair has padding on the bottom to provide additional protection to the bottom of the feet.Highest quality at a great value. Super product.

Warm and comfortable
Slipper was warm and comfortable and kept my ankles warm as well. If you wear them all the time like I do, they wear out before the season is out. I’m having to buy these once a year. If you wash them they lose a lot of insulation. I’m in New England and I’m wimpy about cold weather so on the coldest days I often wear wool socks underneath. I only have to resort to this on the coldest days.

Great booties! And, check the size once it's in your cart.
No matter how warm I keep my apartment, my feet always felt frozen on the days I worked at home. These booties completely solved that problem. Super comfy, nice and warm. The pillowing on the sole has conformed to my feet a bit, so I switch feet sometimes to keep them from getting to worn in a single place. The soles are NOT for going outdoors much, which is fine, but anyone hoping to take out the trash or get the mail in these should pick something else. NOTE: something is funky with size selection. I selected the correct size on the page when adding to my cart, but once they were in my cart they showed the next size up or down (I forget which). So I went back to the page, selected the wrong size in the opposite direction, and then the new entry in my cart was correct. So, CHECK YOUR CART SIZE before clicking purchase, and adjust until it shows the size you really want once it's in your cart. And be sure you've got the right Men's/Women's size indicator as well.
