This has to be the best designed and manufactured childs boot I have seen. It is very well insulated, well constructed and light weight. The padding and insulation inside the boot make it very confortable and extremly warm and dry. I am totally satisfied. And the price is extreamly fair considering the superb quality of materials. I have a piece of mind sending my son out into the cold with this boot. Excellent
Previous years I tried "cheap" boots. My kids spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter playing in the snow and I went through 3 pairs of boots one winter for my son!!!! Purchasing cheaper boots was NOT worthwhile!Last winter I purchased Baffin boots and if my son's feet did not grow he could easily have gotten another winter out of them! Hands down I feel these are durable, comfortable, and warm!! A good buy!
I like these boots. This is the second pair I've bought for my daughter. First when she was 3 and again at age 6. They have durable soles and stitching. The inner liners are a little thick which is why I chose the fit to be "Somewhat small" but as for length I think they fit as expected. The thicker liner seems to allow for a regular sock and she never complained of having cold feet (we play outside quite a bit and she has even worn these on snowmobile).
These boots are great. My favorite for my kids in the snow. I’ve been buying them for a few years now, but they started at $64.99. Now they are $110?! What is this insanity???!!!
Kind of heavy. But they are snow boots, so it is what I expected.
My ten year old loved these boots, he says that they are not as heavy as his last years boots. He wore them all evening around the house, so they must be comfortable. He wears a five in boys so we ordered a six to account for thick socks. They seem true to size. We live in Minnesota so good boots are critical. Baffin are known to be the best. I love the removable line, because for some reason mom always seems to come across wet boots at 10:30 at night on my way to bed. Removable liners dry much faster on the boot dryer than full boots. I also love the reflectors that run front to back. With the nights getting darker faster, reflectors are always good to have. Can't comment on warmth yet, I will update when the temp drops.
Baffin brand boots are the only way to go! I bought me a pair of ladies Baffin snow boots in fall of 2015. They were absolutely perfect! They mean it when they say that these boots will keep your feet warm down to -40 to -50 degrees. So, I decided to get my twin boys each a pair. They are just as great as my Baffin boots. It has taken me a whole other year to find a pair in my youngest sons size, but I found some today and I am beyond thrilled! Do not let the price scare you. They are worth every penny! Plus, these boots can be sold used (once you are done with them) for a good amount of money on eBay or websites similar. Or you can pass them down to a younger child. After a couple of falls/winters, our boots are still in Great condition! We are Baffin Brand people for sure! Thank you Baffin for making boots that keep feet nice and warm, totally dry and they hold up over the years (which, in my opinion makes it well worth paying the money as a pose to buying a new pair of crap Walmart boots every year).
