I buy these boots for my kids because they are warm and keep their feet dry. The boots are well made and my kids are tough on them, but my daughter wore one pair for 2 winters, and there is a pair my son wore that my daughter will get next winter. Even though they have been through it, the boots are still looking good. Winter boots are expensive, but most aren't durable. These are.
Bought these boots for my daughter. Her Sorel's were way to tight this season so it was time to get new boots. These Baffin Snogoose boots are amazing. The liner is thick, plush, and comfortable. They are not that felt scratch stuff that Sorel uses but this wonderful soft liner that a child can love to wear without any complaint. They also feel like they would actually be warm! The boots are going to keep her warm and dry all winter long as we play in the snow and go sledding. The tie at the top and the lace system is easy for a child, I won't have to help her anymore! The traction is amazing and I love how they are designed to have the water roll off the boot. They are a thick boot almost moon boot in style because of how warm they are, but who wants cold feet! I will take bulk over thin style any day. My daughter loves them, she is 9 and picky yet she says they are super cute and can't wait to show them off! I am very pleased.

After 10.5 winters, my beloved boots needed replacement. I tried to find same pair/style, tono avail. My Columbia boots are 8.5 in woman's size. After researching and seeing reviews in a winter FB group I'm in, many recommended this brand. The price to be honest, was high. My Columbia pair was less than $85 USD, so I was hesitant to spend over 100. Reviews mentioned ordering "youth" size. I did (figuring I could return free, if to small or save for my 10 year old)WOW these are huge! Obviously only way I'll know for sure is this upcoming winter. They are not as stiff/solid feeling in the ankle area, as my Columbia boots(I have a plate and 6 screws) so that does worry me, I don't want to have my ankle give out. I do like the feel of them and the inner lining.The youth size was/is significantly cheaper than the adult sizes. As you can see in the pictures, they are much larger than the competition, even though they are labeled a smaller size. I wore them in the house and around the yard, very warm inside, which I loved. I hope these last 10 years +
I bought these boots in a hurry as no one had my sons size here. I live in Alaska (not in the boonies) and needed something to keep my 4 year old's feet warm. I just went by brand and price as I LOVE Baffin so I knew they would be warm...well I got way more than I thought. These boots are amazing and go to temps that we don't even experience but is great because we play outside for hours. The padding inside is tight the first time or two you put them on, but for a good reason. The padding molds to your child's feet. Its like they were made for that specific child. I couldn't be happier with these and must thank Amazon.com for having such a great price and getting them here in 3 days! Thank you! If you buy these you won't be sorry!
these were great for my daughter for our ski trip.
I was looking for winter boots for my daughter and came across these. After reading the reviews from many sites, some reviews said they were a tad heavy, I decide to purchase them. The cheapest I found them was on Amazon. My daughter is 5 years old and wears a size 10, so for winter wise I ordered a 11. They were a perfect fit and not heavy for her age at all. She loved them so much she had to wear them to school the next day, even though it was 60 degrees out day. They seem very durable and made to last. I plan is to pass them down to our youngest in a couple years.
