A very good rubber boot
I bought these because the less expensive pair I wanted was out of stock in my size and I din't want to keep waiting for them. These were close to what I originally planned to buy, but quite a bit more expensive because of the steel toe and shank.I'll never know what the others might have been like, but I'm glad I got these.I wasn't looking for steel-toed boots, but these are by far the lightest weight industrial boots I've ever worn. The toe is not crushable, but I still had to put a magnet to them to prove to myself there was steel up there, and there is. Yet they are significantly ligher than DC's all-rubber boots while being much larger than hers.Very comfortable to walk in, but while Baffin says they are a wide fit, I might disagree a bit. They are snug (not TIGHT by any definition) around the ball of my foot and more loose than I like around the heel. Two pair of socks work well for the heel, but because they are snug at the ball of my foot, the second pair of socks needs to be lighter weight than I'd like, but so far, my feets have been warm and dry and the boots haven't caused any hot spots.I got these to wander the coast in the Pacific Northwest and to walk in the wet saw grass. It's not what they were designed to do, but they are comfortable when walking several miles and are holding-up nicely. Not sure I'd wear mine for extended walkng, but that's only because of how they fit my heel - I'd worry about blisters. Bear in mind that I don't claim to have THE typical human foot (although they look normal) so I'm sure comfort and fit will vary by individual. Just saying they are fine for miles of walking on the beach.I bought one size up from my normal street shoe size. And emphasize STREET SHOE. Since all athletic shoes are made offshore, my athletic shoe size is two sizes larger than my street shoe size. In street shoes, I wear a size 9 1/2 or 10. In athletic shoes, I'm closer to a 12 (11 1/2 in a coule of brands).I bought an 11. It's just the right length and is a good overall fit. They are light weight, neither cold nor hot outdoors, they fit well, they feel good to walk in. I'm glad I got them.

They do their job as work boots for wet jobs
I do sanitation and qa work at a water bottling plant and believe me, I see a lot of water every night. Having your feet submerged in ankle deep water for long periods of time is an everyday occurrence and our soaps and cleaners have pH ranges of 3.00 to 12.00. Needless to say, leather boots do NOT last a long time in this environment. These beasts however, are champions. They stand up to all the chemicals and all the deep water without a worry in the world. I abuse my boots since I'm sometimes forced to kick things "into place" so to speak and I did manage to split the toe after about 6 months. It came apart at a seam along the front. However, I just glued it back shut with some epoxy and went on with life like it was no big deal. I also bought mine too big and because of that, I noticed that sometimes water could splash down inside. But to be honest, that was usually only when we were flushing something out and there's 100s of gallons of water flowing at that time.BUY A PAIR OF INSOLES!!! These aren't like wearing Timberlands. I highly recommend getting a really good insole if you plan to use them a lot. Otherwise, best work boots for the money if you work in a more "unique" environment

Boots
Rugged boot with a steel toe and shank. I use them outdoors when mowing and working in the garden and mucking around in the trees. Liked the idea of the steel toe especially working with the mower, you know as most of us, sometime we aren't always safety conscience when we do things and tend to get in a hurry. They are comfortable and though they say they are not for cold weather i have worn them when walking to the mail box in the dead of winter which is a quarter of a mile round trip. Yep I will buy them again when this babies bite the dust. Update: after a couple of years of use they started to leak where the yellow part of the boot toe is and for the money they aren't worth it since I can go to Walmart and for around $25 buy a pair with steel toes enough said

runs big
as I've read and didn't fully grasp, they run big. I am a 13 usually, but I could easily had a 12. more room for warm socks I guess. haven't hit the field yet, but they seem well built.

Stands up to Brewery Labor
I work in a local brewery and I have been wearing these boots for the past week. I normally wear a size 9.5 in everyday shoes and I ordered a 9 in these boots. When I'm wearing a wool sock these boots fit perfectly, with a cotton sock they have a little room, which is to be expected with a rubber boot. These have so far been very comfortable, and held up to caustic and acid around 170 F. The steel toes and mid sole OS perfect for moving kegs and walking around without fear or broken glass or nails.

LOVE THESE BOOTS!
I work in a wholesale food processing facility which has cement flooring that is constantly inundated with water as well as fat and meat bits. It is also kept at temperatures below 40 degrees. No problem with cold or wet feet or slipping so far. Boots were delivered quick and fit true to size. I wear size 10.5 shoe and have no problem with this size. Would buy again.

These boots rock!
Bought these for my fella to wear while working on our wet and muddy property. Paired with a decent pair of wool socks, these boots keep his feet warm and dry even in freezing weather. He loves them! He had to get them good and dirty and a little worn in before he was willing to wear them in public. Looking forward to years of use as we build our little farm.
