A Versatile Rain Boot!
I love these boots! They're perfect for a winter snowstorm or a heavy rain storm. These boots are durable and well constructed. They are a little heavy, but not uncomfortable. The sturdy sole is great for snow, ice and large puddles. The mesh lining inside makes them surprisingly warm for a rubber boot. A good pair of socks or a light boot liner and your toes will be nice and cozy. My only complaint is that they run a little larger than expected. Which seems to be the general opinion. I guess it's for thick socks. However buying one size down could be sufficient.

Good outdoor boots
I bought these boots to wear during the rainy seasons in Washington (which is most of the year) on our farm. I have had them for almost a year now and they have held up well. If you are an 8 1/2 shoe size, I would recommend going up to a size 9. I tried the 8 and it was too small. The 9 fits well.Edited in November 2017: these got a split in the back and started leaking. Overall, I was happy with how long they held up. I was going to buy another pair, but the price has doubled since I originally bought them in 2014

Good, sturdy boots
I've worn these boots a couple times now and I'm pretty happy with them. I wear 8.5-9, usually, depending on the brand. I bought a 9 in these boots, but I think they are still a bit larger than a standard 9. They are not so big that I cannot comfortably wear them, though. They are rain boots after all. So far, the construction seems to be solid and well made. The opening for the boot is quite large (I have pretty muscular calves so I opted for a boot with a wider opening, but this is still quite big for me). When walking, the back of the boot does "bump into" my calves and that's a bit noisy, but it's not the worst thing in the world. I can comfortably fit my jeans and socks in the boot, so that's ideal. I live in Florida and when it rains, it pours. I have trudged through puddles 5-6 inches deep and rain coming down in sheets, and my feet stayed dry. Overall, I would recommend these boots.

IMHO the interior of rubber boots should not have texture or sharp edges
I loved these at first as they're sturdy, handsome, and initially comfortable. My old and less supportive boots left my feet aching after a couple miles, and these keep my feet happier. EXCEPT I discovered there are two small divots on the inside of each boot, low on either side of my forefoot. I would never know they're there except the one against the outside edge of my right foot rubs, increasingly painfully with added mileage. I can feel the divots with fingers (and foot!) but can't see them -- they're a perfect shallow circle, and they're ruining these boots for me. I've tried covering them with moleskin, stretching the forefoot of the boot, wearing thicker socks, and now insoles to raise my foot high enough to escape the rub, but I need rubber boots to be slip on and go for hours without thinking about them, and this is not working.

Nice boots
Love the boots, very nice quality. They seem to run a size larger though. I returned the first pair for one size smaller and the fit is perfect. The boots are sturdy, fit well, not at all flimsy.....surprisingly supportive. They're great for rainy weather and walking the grounds on my son's 14 acres of farm land when it's wet. Sweet deal! NP with the return either, I was extremely satisfied with the service, thank you Amazon!
