This boot is super, super
OMG....Oh my scotch bonnet feet, blazing bon fire...lol..lol. Holy Baffin..wasn't kidding when they said the word "warm". This boot is super, super, super warm (-100c/ - 148c ) That's what the tag says. Don't buy unless you want your feet extra warm. I love them. I wear a size 8 - 8 1/2. The company said to size up. So I brought a size 9 as the company said. They fit great/snugged with thick socks. Perfect just perfect. They have extremely thick padding inside. Your foot fits like a cradle inside, very cushiony. Like some type of foam. Im not certain, but it appears that the inside can be removed..but i cant seem to get it out. Not going to force it, because im not sure if it can be removed. I know the company has a website where they have replacement cushion for certain boots. I will call company to see. Snuggled fit around the toes and feels great. Looks a little big on the outside because of all the cushion inside. But still very beautiful. Strap is adjustable for a tighter fit. Light weight to me for such a padded boot. Others may find it too clunky. But I love them, they look stylish of all the women boots by Baffin. Will be ordering a second pair. Warning, for extreme weather only as your foot will be extremely warm. I Don't think I can wear these inside a house for more than a 1/2 hour before having to take them off. I only plan to wear them in a snow storm. Only one thing...I don't know if the top part is waterproof I believe it is water resistant. I will call the company tomorrow to find out. Tag says waterproof base. By far the best boots I ever purchased!!!! GO BAFFIN!!!

Baffin gets a gold medal for these !!!!!
I live in ND and we have VERY COLD winters, I have been through Sorel and Columbia snow boots ( and they aren't cheap) neither of them have kept my feet warm and with in a year I got rid of them due to the warmth. My son works outside, sometimes for 12 hours a day, I got him a pair of the men's oil riggers, HE IS 100 % in love with them. So based on his experience, I got myself the icefield, and YES I LOVE THEM !!!!!! FEET ALWAYS WARM, no trying to wear 2 pairs of socks, comfortable and not heavy. THEY ARE EVERY BIT WORTH THE MONEY !!!!!! I wear a size 9 shoe, found some at Scheels before I ordered tried on a 10 first, the toe fit was about the same but my heel slid up and down in the 10, tried on the 9 and fit nice.

By far the best snow mobile boot/ warm weather boot I have ever ...
Came quickly. By far the best snow mobile boot/ cold weather boot I have ever seen. Warm thick, but light liners- removable. Light weight boot, but extremely warm Iceland boot for woman is rated 148 F below zero, and it seems like it could do that. Tread is excellent on ice. have yet to see if its waterproof- but it sure looks like it will be very waterproof. Durable, a bit hard to tighten around the the ankle/shin area, but I do have slender calves. A bit tight at first on toes, but you will not need thick socks. Very light boot, excellent top notch- first ever for a woman- why do they think we prefer to look skinny over being warm? This boot delivers both- not too bulky, light weight and extremely warm

Lightweight
I wish the toe area was a little wider. I ordered a full size bigger than I wear and I won’t be able to put a very warm sock due to thickness on because there won’t be room. I think they are a good boot for winter otherwise. They are quite warm however if you have naturally cold feet no boot will keep your feet warm unless you have some toe warmers or battery operated heaters but over all a nice boot. I know walking in them my feet were comfortable but sitting still I noticed my toes getting cold. Nothing I couldn’t handle but noticeable. They are also lightweight so that is a huge bonus when trucking through snow!

Thick Inserts and nice laces
I had used these on a recent dog sledding adventure (size 7) so I thought I would purchase my own. I normally wear a 5 and purchased a size 6. I can only wear one pair of socks so if you want to wear extra you will need to size up 2 sizes.I purchased the size 6 because I wanted to walk around in them and didn’t want the extra weight. They are chunky and not a fashion boot. So buy them for utility and functionality. These are lightweight but chunky. I also own sorels size 6 that are heavier and the outer shell is thicker so I think they may hold up better, they are also very warm but they don’t have the quick pull on the laces.

Spent the past 5 winters in the Eastern Sierras with Sorel boots and I now realize they are more like glorified fashionable rain
If I could give them 6 stars I would!!! Spent the past 5 winters in the Eastern Sierras with Sorel boots and I now realize they are more like glorified fashionable rain boots (anyone who lives in snow knows that snow collects and clumps on faux fur, which a lot of the Sorels have on the top). I used to wear 3 pairs of thick wool socks and my feet would still be freezing, which was discouraging as I really need be able to stand in deep snow when we get stuck on our off-road adventures. These Baffin boots are exactly what I was looking for, warm, incredibly comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. One pair of wool socks and they fit perfectly. I wear a size 7 in most shoes but an 8 in most boots, and the Baffin size 8 fit just as expected. I am the type of person that wears 5-6 layers, but when I was out earlier this week at night in a blizzard taking recovery photos, I found myself completely fine in only one pair of sweats in knee-high snow because my new Baffin boots were keeping my feet so warm. Absolutely love these boots and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a REAL winter boot!
