These are great boots!
Living in Colorado on a ranch that is located above 7000ft, where the winters can be wicked, these boots are great! They are easy on/off, adjustable at the ankle, well insulated, completely waterproof, and true to size. They are also much lighter than I expected them to be, which is a plus since slogging through snow drifts is tiring enough without boots that feel like they are made of concrete. They also keep my feet comfortable without making my feet sweat and the liners don't bunch and are washable. All in all, I am very happy with my pair of OilrRigs and have already recommended them to several friends that are also farmers/ranchers.Its a great pair of boots at a great price--what more could you ask for?

Great work boots
Boots keep my feet warm for most part. Because of steel toe, once the steel gets cold it takes awhile to warm back up. I put toe warmers in boot when that happens.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!
When I first picked them up at the PO, they seemed to be very heavy. I wondered if I could wear them. Once on my feet, they were fine. I live in the Adirondack Mtns, and we get a lot of winter days well below 0 and even down to 30+below. I have Renaud's Disease; my toes get extremely sore in cold weather. I have tried so many boots, toe warmers etc. My toes still throbbed. Not only are these boots comfortable, but my feet have never been cold, even when we had minus 24 degrees so far this winter. They are the best $$ I have spent on boots. I was unsure if I would like the steel toes, but no problem. I call them Arctic Chic. They seem like heavy duty, very warm MukLuks. Also, the ad was correct, order a size larger. Kudos to Canada for such a great product.

Does NOT keep feet Warm!
I bought these boots, based on the ratings. I live in Alaska, and at -20, my toes froze! We only went on a short snowmobile ride, and I was setting snares along the way, so I was moving. However, these boots were not warm. Even when I got home and took my boots off (this was the 2nd time I wore them, and bought them new), both my husband and I reached in the boot and the entire toe area was super cold. I would not recommend these for women. I am looking for the Baffin Derrik (STP), as my husband has these and they are nothing short of incredible!!

These boots arrived sooner than expected and the fit is great!It has a liner in it so I guess this should help for summer months.It also has the drawstring around calf area that can be adjusted, so if you have big calf It possibly will work for you.To me it seemed to big of an opening but I thought about calf or thick pants. I haven't worn them outdoors yet,but I have tried them on and walked around in them, seems comfortable and they are really not heavy weight although they look it.I ordered a 10 because a lot of shoes are narrow but and I may wear thick socks and it fit was ok.THis is add on to review it's 2014 now I still have them and their holding up pretty good,i like how you dont slip and slide when on wet surface.They are a little big for me but in the winter months I put thick socks on but its a good thing they have room for adjustmant. Their not to hot in summer, but I take liner out and wear socks only, dont like my foot to rub inside shoe.Overall great boots, not stylish but they are rugged.

I wonder if these were factory seconds or returns?
These were listed at a GREAT price, and I needed them ASAP, so I bought them. The liner on the left boot was weirdly pressing on my toes, as if it had been sewn wrong. The heels were MASSIVE, like clearly not made for a woman's foot. While the boots were listed as WOMENS, they were stamped 6/8W, which I assume meant 6 Men's, 8 Women's, but 8W without the 6 would've means 8 WIDE.Anyway, I returned. I've heard such wonderful things about Baffins. So I would definitely consider again, but I would buy direct from Baffin or from a store where I could try them on.
