You never know what you will encounter from day to day, but steel toe boots can make life a whole lot easier!The steel toe is definitely strong on this boot. It’s durable and stylish at the same time. I would say in the beginning, the fit seemed a bit small, but they did form to my feet a bit as time went on. With that being said, don’t order them too large or too small, I would still suggest ordering a size that best fits you normally. After wearing these boots in for a while, they were much more comfortable! I love the sleek black on black look and the height of the boot.

The shoes are rather wide. Not just in how they fit my feet, but the soles are quite a bit wider than the shoe they are supporting. "LAnoudun" seems to be the actual shoe brand.Fit is fine; I actually took a gamble on a size slightly smaller than my current shoes (10 vs 10.5) and they still fit quite well. Nowhere on the shoe does it mention US size, just EU 44 and 270 (millimeter measurement), which is in fact spot on for my feet. The tongue on the right shoe has a tendency to curl up along its edge as I put it on, which creates painful a pressure point. Once I found out why it happened though, it was easy to make sure the tongue stays true as I insert my foot. There is little to no arch support, however.The shoelaces feel quite wimpy, thin and stretchy and probably not long for this world.And finally, while it's a completely subjective thing, I don't love the look of them in person. I wanted function over form in the first place, but they really look more like kids' shoes. Oh well, they do fine on the farm and with light hiking, and that's what I bought them for!

Replaced My $200 Work Boots
These have become my daily drivers at work. I usually wear cowboy boots and even picked up a $200+ pair of Justin steel toes through my work allowance—but these completely replaced them. The fit was solid right out of the box, no break-in needed. They’re noticeably lighter, have good support for long days on concrete, and my feet feel way better by the end of a shift. Slip resistance has been reliable so far, and the color hides dirt well, which is a plus for work boots. Overall quality has held up better than expected for the price. At this point, the Justins barely get worn anymore. These punch way above their weight and have earned a permanent spot in my work rotation.
