Nicely made but unexpected sizing issues causing discomfort - is this supposed to be a wide?

Overall the shoe seems nicely made, and like they will hold up well. I wanted to replace my Life Stride brand shoes that were almost identical with a peep toe and full back - I loved them, had them in black and red - they were slightly more stylish in how they peep toe was cut, always received compliments. After 12 year they finally looked ragged and fell apart. I wore them out to gatherings and even to just make shorts and a blouse look more polished. I wanted the same kind of polish and ease....I thought these would be a great replacement because I've been wearing Bandolino leather heels /dress shoes for many years and know they are great. Also, I usually wear a 9M and it's just right.The sizing seems odd. A 9M was WAY too big. Fell right off my feet when I tried to take a couple of steps. I exchanged for the 8.5M which seems to be the right length but they are still strangely a little too wide and slip off my heels. I had tried standing and walking in them around my living room and thought they would be okay, but wearing them out and having to walk normally, definitely still a little too wide. Also, edge of the shoe is very stiff hard and it's hitting up against the side of my foot under my ankle in a way that can cause a a blister.I am optimistic that I can get a couple of things at the local store to address these issues and just enjoy them.If I hadn't been wearing Bandolino brand heels for many years, I would've chalked this up to not being a good brand /make for feet, but instead I feel like this isn't really Bandolino's finest/something is off. If they fit well, easily 4 stars. So, just be careful on sizing if you give them a try.

Beautiful shoe but fit didn't work for me

Shipping was fast, and I love the look of the shoe. The heel height was perfect-high enough to be a dress shoe but not so high to feel unstable. Unfortunately, I have to return because the shoe won't stay on my foot. I bought a 9, my normal size, and it feels good and fits on my foot, but my heel keeps coming out as I walk because the shoe is too wide around my heel/ankle. I have a narrow heel so this shoe could still probably work for most people, but if you have narrow heels like me, it's probably a no.

Cute but terrible fit

These shoes look fantastic, they are so cute. But the fit is horrible. Like others said, the back of the shoe just falls off your foot. Maybe the weight of the heel??? I put in an insert in the top of the back and even though it fits better it still falls off. And after a few hours of trying to wear them like that, the front of my foot is in pain. I want so badly to like these, but I don’t think I can. Boo.
