Great pair of Barefoot Water Sneakers
I’ve been wanting to get a proper water shoe for my husband for ages because every time we’re at our place in the country, he inevitably ends up in the river wearing sneakers or sandals that don’t fit well or aren’t safe. I try to tell him, but he never listens—so when I had the chance to try these Barefoot Shoes, I jumped on it.They turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. The wide toe box makes them comfortable right out of the box, and the zero‑drop design feels natural and supportive. The lug sole has excellent grip, which gives me peace of mind when he’s walking on slippery rocks or uneven ground. They’re lightweight enough for casual wear but sturdy enough for hiking, trail running, or just spending time outdoors.Overall, these shoes strike the perfect balance between comfort, safety, and versatility. My husband finally has footwear that works for the river, the trail, and everyday wear—and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.The uppers are soft, comfy material and closer up pictures show the texture but the further off picture reflects the color more accurately, the color is a deep gray black like the listing shoes, they weren't faded or worn looking but deep and look like the listing. No odd smells or odors either which I like especially when something comes wrapped in plastic so that's a plus. All in all, I really like these barefoot shoes and think I'll probably come back and get a pair for myself in the future to replace my older pair.Definitely recommend!

Nice Shoes
These are cool looking water shoes. I like them for fishing and casual use. I'd give 5 stars, but i feel like the sizing info is not consistent between orders. Many reviewers say that they run big, but for me, the male sizing was too small. I normally wear a 9.5, and since other reviewers said they run big and there are no half-sizes, I went with the size 9, expecting a perfect fit. Instead, they fit exactly like a size 9, and are too small for me to fully enjoy for extended periods. I'd recommend ordering the exact size that you wear, or a half size bigger.

My first pair of barefood shoes. Such an interesting feel! I like these!
I've heard about barefoot shoes for quite some time now, and one person I saw wearing them really liked them. I was THRILLED when I saw an available pair! I ordered them as quickly as I could, and they arrived here quickly. So far, good, good, good!I did a quick read about this type of shoe. I tried them on with socks, and when I read about barefoot shoes and socks, at least one article said the shoes are meant to breathe, so you don't necessarily need socks. They did make the shoes a bit snug. I have been a size 12, and am probably about a 12.5. I ordered the 12 (or 12.5). They are still snug around my feet, but not in a bad way. - update- in a bad way later. I like the feel, but my toes hurt after a while because the shoes were a little too small. - When regular shoes are snug, they feel uncomfortable. These somehow just feel secure, like they are sort of an extension of my foot.Walking in them takes just a little getting used to, but I like it. I recently got a pair of these for the kid, and when she wore them out on a hike she said they were very comfortable. I'm hoping they stretch out a little so I can wear socks with them in the winter. I have mine on now and plan on wearing them all day. So far they do seem comfortable, and the feel is just so different from a regular shoe. More than I would have guessed.The soles are a really good rubber with a lot of grip, so if you do a little hiking, these should help you get great traction if you go up or down a hill.The only test left for me is to walk around in them and see how breathable they are. I think I'm going to enjoy this test!The color selection is really nice also. I'd definitely consider these unisex. They have nice bright colors and more subdued colors, like the ones I ordered. Great shoes!

Size chart runs a little large. Very comfortable.
I previously had a style of barefoot shoes and remembered that the sizing was different from regular shoes so I followed the sizing chart exactly. Although I normally wear an 8.5, after measuring three times the sizing chart indicated a size 10 so that is what I ordered. In all fairness, I probably need a 9.5 which is not available. The size 10s are a bit too long in the toe and the wide toe box is much different than I am used to; however, the back/heel does not slip at all and I can walk easily. When I realized I couldn't kick them off and my heel wasn't slipping, I wore them for the day and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable they are! They are very easy to slip off and on and the cushioning on the insole provides just enough arch support for me. They are light weight and look like they would wash well.The photos do not capture how wide the toe box is. I included a photo of this shoe and one of my other sneakers for comparison. The difference is in the width of the shoe. These are not the most stylish shoes but for running errands, working in the yard, going for a walk, water activities, etc. they meet the needs and are comfortable.

Runs small, looks wide and feels narrow
I have had a number of barefoot shoes and I’m generally pretty picky, but decided to give these a shot. First, let me say that I always run right at an 11 and have an average width foot, so I almost never have problems with a shoe fitting. These however were very cramped, and as you can see where I’m lifting my toes in the picture the shoes have zero extra room and I can barely move my toes around. Given that they were described as having a wide toe box for a good barefoot experience, this is disappointing. They do slip on relatively easily, but then feel loose and unsupportive around the ankles. Finally, they generally feel like a much lower quality material than other barefoot shoes I’ve owned, and even with the lower retail price I don’t think I’ll seek out another pair.
