They fit perfectly and are breathable and comfy. I wear them at work and am amazed at how nice they are. I own shoes that are 3-4X more expensive that are not half as nice as these BASS Hikers!Note- I have not tried them for serious hiking, but they fit so nicely and provide such good arch and heel support that I imagine they would be very good hiking shoes too....
They fit really well! They're like a high quality slip on with hiking boot tread. I've been wearing Adidas Terrex for the last ten years, these aren't as waterproof, but for the price the feel, fit, and support are unbelievable. Great value for the money. Super light weight!
Walked through a field of dew laden grass this morning, my feet got soaked and now my boots are water stained!Not sure how they can claim these shoes are waterproof if contact with wet grass results in soaked feet! Most disappointing as I was hoping to use them for hiking in Ireland where rain is pretty much a given.
Comfortable, great traction. Since it doesn't have a separate tongue I can use them as slip ons. But because it still has laces, when I'm hiking I can tighten the laces to get more support. Just what I was looking for.
I love the fact they're slip on, but are very supportive.
My husband says these shoes are so comfortable that he is wearing them as his everyday shoes.
Bass Outdoor Hiking Shoes are nicely made from high quality materials. The shoes feel robust and sturdy and should hold up to moderate hiking conditions well. The style is simple, perhaps dowdy, but these aren't fashion footwear.In a size 13 they fit my husband perfectly. He has narrow feet with high arches and found them to be comfortable, supportive, and flexible. They breath well and don't make his feet sweat. He especially liked that they could be taken on and off without tying them every time.He took them on a moderate two mile hike over dirt, gravel, and pavement. They offered good grip on all surfaces but he could feel rocks under the sole on his foot. It wasn't painful, but he was surprised that the shoes weren't more isolating. The water resistant finish worked well when he splashed through small puddles.All in all... great hiking shoes.
