I love these sandals. They are very comfortable, very well made and are a great price. I am certain to get many enjoyable years of wear out of them. Thank you for providing these wonderful sandals and excellent service.
Insoles are too hard
I got these because I really can’t or don’t wear sandals at home I have four large dogs and they love to follow on my heels. They have stepped on the back of my sandal so many times and I have had a few bad falls.These go on firmly and stay on. The thick, wide cushioned Velcro straps that are all over the shoe let it stay firmly and no slipping sideways in mud or water like flip-flops, and then falling. As you can see, the soles are uber heavy and thick with deep, heavy tread. These are hiking and river sandals, and they are definitely good. You might get tripped up a little on thick carpet though. The deep, rubber treads can catch on the nap.
I was excited to see Bass sandals available on Amazon - I remember getting some in the past and their reputation being of high quality and great comfort. I don't know if it is because they were trying to make an outdoor hiking sandal, so they were trying for waterproof?? I don't know, but the materials felt cheap and disappointing. Because I have a wide foot, the front part of the sandal, near my toes, was sadly not adjustable, and squished my feet a bit making it hard to give a very fair judgement on its comfort, except I remember sandals with cushions and really good arch support, and these have neither. I will say that around the ankle and heel, I did feel that area was well supported.
I got these Bass Outdoor sandals in my normal size 6. I will say that I have slightly wide feet so the part that goes over the toe area is slightly tight on my foot. I do like that there are 2 straps that are adjustable that go around the back of your foot and ankle area. They aren't the most comfortable sandals I have worn but they weren't bad and I didn't have any foot pain after wearing them all day. I do think that the material isn't top quality but maybe because they are suppose to be water proof. Overall I still like them for occasions when I want to wear open toe shoes but still have them secure on my feet.
I like that there are two straps that adjust on these sandals. They are comfortable, and seem to be very well made. I like that they are weather proof, and look stylish. Overall, very pleased and I would recommend if you are looking for a nice pair of outdoor sandals.
The shoe is basically elastic, velcrove, foam and a hollow( ?) Plastic looking sole. The Nubuck is an addon to cover the imitation underneath. Wouldn't trust my beautiful feet on anything sharp or woodland trail in these. Returning, for sure.
