Great hiking shoe if you don't want a hiking boot!
These are the second pair of this exact hiking shoe I've bought. I love them. I got this pair for $35 right here on Amazon! Sometimes, the color makes the difference in price. They last a long time. I hike at least 4-5 times a week. Love, love, love these. They are true to size. I have a wide foot (and a bunion) they work great for me. They would work fine for people who don't have wide feet. Plenty of arch support, but not too much that it's annoying.

Comfortable, Stylish, gripping sole.
Very comfortable, lightweight, stylish hiking shoe. I especially appreciated the gripping rubber sole, since I purchased these for hiking in sandy, rocky mountain terrain. I wore these shoes for about 8 hours and my only complaint is the fabric rubbed against my Achilles aggravated the skin a bit because I wore low cut socks. I would recommend slightly higher ankle socks to cover your Achilles if you have sensitive skin in that area and plan to wear the shoes for moderate to heavy hiking or climbing.

Runs Short and Toe Box Not Very Roomy
Wow — so disappointed. Based on a couple of the reviews stating the shoe ran wide and a bit big, I put on a medium thick sock and the size 7 shoe was too narrow in the toe box and too short in length. The blue shoe is gorgeous, nice sole and quality good, and I liked the flexible mesh upper. Price was very reasonable. I may try a larger size since I need a breathable shoe.
