So good, I bought two pairs
I love Bearpaw more than my Uggs even. They're so comfortable and warm. I like the two-toned design. I bought in black and brown. The brown is a cooler-toned, muted brown, but still very versatile. They dis run a little big on me. I'm size 8.5 and bought a 9 and ultimately exchanged for an 8. So if you're a half size, maybe size down. Would definitely buy in other colors.

Probably one of the softest comfortable boots to ever put your foot into. The sheep skin is so beautiful to look at and to touch. High quality manufacturing for sure. Soles are solid and durable. The inside is pure heaven in a boot. Soft plump wool throughout, like walking on clouds. Very very warm. The upper leg area has just the right amount of room for tucking in your pants. Very stylish and absolutley beautiful. Alot of boots I've bought have been running smaller but these are true to fit with space so they fit well without being to big. Overall great boot, purchased multiple colors. I've been buying Bearpaw for years and I still have a pair from 7 years ago that look great for their age. They last forever. I think I have atleast 8 pairs, they are the most comfy boots I own and this pair is just as wonderful.

Pleasantly surprised, first pair of Bearpaw boots I've loved... BUT A WORD OF CAUTION ON SIZING after ordering a second pair.
I am adding a second review after ordering a second pair, the Distressed Black, also in a 9. Here again, I find the inconsistencies I've had with other Bearpaw boots. As I said below in my earlier review, I wear a 7.5 or 8 generally but sized up one full size to a 9, and with the Distressed Chestnut it was perfect. However with the Distressed Black? My toes were to the end and almost needing to be curled. my first instinct was to check the box, certain the wrong size was sent but no, it was labeled (box and boot) a 9. Next to each other, they are just enough different that I go yep, that's why they don't fit.I'll be happy with the pair I have, but am disappointed, the color of the Distressed Black is great.------I've never cared for Bearpaw boots, and have stuck with the higher end Emu boots, but was drawn to these particular boots. I kept looking at them, adding them to my cart and saving them for later. Finally decided to buy them and worse case, return them if I didn't like them.I sized up like I have with other Bearpaw products (I wear an 7.5 or 8 or 8W in some sneakers in most shoes and bought a size 9) and these fit perfectly. I wouldn't size down but wouldn't size up any further. The calf, which has been an issue with other Bearpaw boots, was comfortable and not snug, nor was it too loose.The distressed chestnut color was gorgeous and looked as nice, if not better than the pictures showed. These were a game changer for me, I was prepared to try them on and then process the return like I have with all Bearpaw shoes I've tried.

[Overall]I am so glad that I did my research before I invested in UGGs. I feel that these BEARPAW shoes are not only more stylish, but just as comfy! I love how boot is taller in the front and lowers in the back. The fit was true to size when I tried it on, but they did expand a bit after a couple weeks use. I'm curious to see if I would purchase a size down next time because I do know I will reorder when these become worn out with overuse![Pros]>A stylish replacement for UGGs>Super comfortable lining>Works perfect without socks.
