Take a chance on these - Surprising in every way!
My feet: size 8.5M, narrow, flat, post-plantar fasciitis in need of the right balance of cushion and support.I got the black ones in my usual 8.5. The fit in length and width could not be more ideal. The faux leather is pliable, soft and comfortable at first try on. Spacious toe box with room for a light to medium weight sock. Cushioned insole with flexible, grippy outer sole.One concern was that the sole would look too Doc Martenish but they are not luggy like that. These can most definitely be dressed up as well as down. I’ll need to see how supportive they are walking around for a day.From some customer photos, I was also concerned they would be patent leather glossy but not the case. They looked buffed to a shine like a quality leather shoe would look.I am so happy with the look, quality and price of these loafers, I may get a dark brown pair as well as the olive green. In the fall/winter, I’m usually in boots or sneakers so it’s nice to have a different type of shoe in my rotation.

If I could, I’d give these shoes a 4.5 star rating. I would. They are almost exactly what I was looking for in a green loafer except 1) they’re not suede (couldn’t find a green suede loafer), and 2) they’re are a little light in structure.These shoes are very comfortable - I’ve worn them several times now with no problem (including all day on Thanksgiving, where I spent most of it on my feet.)The only actual issue with these shoes is their structure. The faux leather has no liner or structure under it so it collapses when you try to slip them on. This is easily rectified with the use of a shoe horn or a finger, but still not optimal.I have no idea how long they’ll last as the uppers don’t seem that durable, but for the money, I’m really happy with this purchase.For me, the fit is true to the size that I wear regularly: I wear a 7 and ordered these in a (recommended) 7.5, and they fit like a 7.5. In this instance, I don’t mind a little extra room in the toe box as they don’t slip at the back.As far as the color, the moss/loden green seems very close to what was pictured and therefore to what was expected.

I have plantar fasciitis and I’ve been looking for a loafer that is comfortable. These are it! They are soft and so comfortable to walk in! I bought the black but going to order in other colors.
