I love these boots. I work on a farm and walk 5-7 miles per day this time of year. My feet always seem to hurt. These boots are so light and comfortable and I’m not slipping and falling because they have great soles. I have wide feet and they fit great. Granted, I’ve only had them a couple of weeks and am very hard on my footwear but so far I am really happy with them and will probably stick with this brand for rain boots. They are worth the price.
Two years ago we purchased two pairs of boots - Bekina for me and my husband bought another cheaper brand. My boots are awesome - very warm in winter (I entered icy water many times to check), sturdy, comfortable, still look as new. My husband's boots just gave a crack. Just purchased him Bekina boots! Love Them. I have foot problems and I finally found a pair of boots I can wear. I had to order a size 14 which is hard to find but they worked. I have to order my shoes and boots bigger/wider than what I actually wear so I can put my inserts into them. No one in town sells anything over size 12? Very Happy! A pair of boots I can wear and my feet don't hurt. Yippy!
The quality is very good. They're great boots. Unfortunately for me they are uncomfortable to walk in; They seem to run a little narrow. I can probably take the insole out to create more room, but figure my feet will sweat against the rubber.I use them for fishing and kayaking, so I don't actually do much walking in them and they work well for that.They have nice rubber lugs on the back above the heal for stepping on to take them off.
Upside:Lightweight, flexible, comfortable, durable. Downside: fits foot length right but is super tight on top of my foot. I had to remove my sox to wear them, and the shaft is too narrow. I had to roll the calf/shaft down to get them on my legs.And I'm a small person. Don't see how a guy could ever wear these. They need to make the foot area more roomy and widen the calf shaft. Otherwise these would be perfect. They are light on your feet and flexible with your movement. Im going to wear for a couple days to see if they conform or stretch a little. Considering a return, but I really need them to work.
I purchased a second pair for my wife. Women sizes go down two size. She loves them. Light weight high enough we can walk in the little stream next to our property.I did replace foot bed on mine with Dr Scholes worker. Love them.First impression: out of the bag noticeably light weight. Sole of boot very solid. I ordered 1/2 size up and fit is right on. I think the width is correct I do not think the width is tight as mentioned by others. The foot bed is comfortable no arch support might have to replace that we will see. The next test is durability will this hold up to farm work. I hope they do because I have been through so many other cheap brands I really want these to last.
