Size 5.5 (white lace) fits great with a little room to spare. They're beautiful and comfy. The sole bed is similar to that of Converse. For extra cushion, a thin insert will do just fine, if you need it. Wore them 6 hours right out of the box without issue.
WHEN I FIRST SAW THESE SNEAKERS IN BLACK ROUGHLY 2 WEEKS AGO, I IMMEDIATELY PUT THEM IN MY CART! THE RECOMMENDED SIZE WOULD HAVE BEEN A SIZE 10, BUT I NORMALLY WEAR A 9 SO I ORDERED THE SIZE 9 AND I'M SO GLAD THAT I DIDN'T ORDER THE RECOMMENDED SIZE BECAUSE THEY FIT PERFECTLY! MANY SAID THAT THE SNEAKERS INSOLE DIDN'T PROVIDE MUCH COMFORT. THIS IS TRUE, SO I PUT INSOLES INSIDE MY SNEAKERS AND IT WAS FINE. HONESTLY SOME PEOPLE WHO PURCHASE CONVERSE LOW TOPS SAY THE SAME THING. NORMALLY I TAKE REVIEWS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. IF I PURCHASE ANYTHING AND HAVE AN ISSUE, I'M GOING STRAIGHT TO THE SOURCE TO REMEDY THE SITUATION! I READ REVIEWS TO GET AN OVERALL CONSENSUS OF WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY AND THEN MAKE MY DECISION WHETHER OR NOT IT'S WORTH IT. THESE SNEAKERS ARE INDEED WORTH IT! I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THE SELLER THEMSELVES DID NOT DESCRIBED THE SNEAKERS AS BEST THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE. THESE SNEAKERS ARE CLASSY, CAN BE DRESSED UP OR DOWN, THEY ARE A SHOWSTOPPER AND GET ATTENTION. THEY EXCEEDED MY EVEN MY EXPECTATIONS AND ARE DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE! EVERY PERSON WHO ASKED ME ABOUT MY SNEAKERS DID NOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH THEY COST! NOW I HAVE TO BUY 2 MORE PAIRS (1 FOR MY TWIN AND MY BESTIE)!
I tried on Converse at Marshall's today before I got these, compared to the converse these are so so so comfortable!!!!! And they are still made out of canvas it might be thinner canvas it might not be the same quality but I am telling you I have bad feet and a bunion and I'm telling you these are absolutely fantastic especially for the price!!!! I take a 7 and 1/2 and I bought an eight the eight is going to be fine but it is just a little bit big but that's okay they are so comfortable I don't care and they look great!!!
