Most comfortable shoe I own!
I have owned Bernie Mev shoes in this style before and wore them completely out! These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! I wear a lot of beige and browns and so I purchased these knowing that they would have a gold look to them and they did not disappoint! My back is not comfortable in flat shoes so the wedge heel works for my back and they look nice in the office. I typically wear a size 8.5 – 9 and that is what I ordered. They fit perfectly. The mesh uppers are elasticized and so as the day goes on and my feet swell, they still fit great without squeezing. The synthetic soles grip well and do not slide even when wet. If the uppers get wet, they dry quickly and do not discolor. You have to try these to believe how comfortable they are.

CUTE SHOES FOR BARTENDING?! IMPOSSIBLE!!
Bernie Mev... I can't say enough! I'm a bartender on weekends and, as many of us in the service industry know, SAFE, comfy AND CUTE are like the holy grail of shoe finds... but let me tell you... this is my 2nd pair (in a year) and I have to say... THESE ARE A GOD-SEND! I wear heels most of my waking hours in my other "real" job (9-5 M-F) and wearing the flat, sensible, UGLY shoes that are out there for servers... well- they did terrible things to my back! I spent 100s of dollars on shoes trying out what others had recommended and nothing worked. Finally... someone suggested that I try something with a little lift to see if that helped. Attractive and comfortable; but rather loose heel prone to slipping
I love these long-wearing shoes as they are very comfortable despite high heel. Please note that the ankle can roll and injury result if one is not careful. The heal is not reinforced and is very wide. The instep top strap is a little large for me but your situation may be different. I took some tucks with thread to reduce the size. These run a little SMALL by 1/2 to one full size. That is, the footbed is a little tight/short.

Wish they came in half sizes
I ordered these in a size 42 (usually a size 10 or 10w depending on the type of shoe) because I had gone to a store hat sells them and they only go up to 41. After a day in the 41 I had to return them to the store because they were too right on the band (kept leaving indents and marks from strap) so I found a 42 on here. When I wear them with the strap they are amazingly comfortable yet fashionable. I got these so I could wear them to work, I'm a nanny and I walk around them all day and it's fine. I wore them on Halloween this weekend to a rave and had little to no discomfort at the end of the night! Normally I'd be having to carry my heels after a night of dancing until 4 am but not with these! The only thing is that if I wanted to wear the shoes without the strap (just laying it on the sole of the shoe and putting my foot on top of it) I step right out of them. If they had a 41.5 I think I'd be ok but alas. I love these shoes and I get compliments on them every time I've worn them (3 times now) cute. fashionable. sensible.

Have bunions? Try these!!!
When I tried these shoes on it was after I had been wearing a tight shoe after work. At first I thought that they weren't going to work for me because they felt too big and the back of the heel slipped when I walked. I am one to give items more than 1 chance especially since I loved the comfort. So I put them on in the morning and Wa-La, they fit perfect. I wear size 8.5 and chose size 39. I have found that they form to my feet very quickly even with my bunions because of the stretch in the material due to the warmth of my feet. The backs will slip if I wear knee highs so I wear them naked. I love the comfort, height and style of these shoes! Plan to get the silver ones soon.

Cute and comfortable but slip off
I bought these for a month-long trip, and they were the only shoes I wore. The pros: very comfortable right out of the box, no bunion pain, polished looking, height of a heel but more stable thanks to the platform and wedge. The cons: the strap is not as tight as I'd prefer and the back of the shoe doesn't quite come up high enough to tightly hold in my foot, so when I walked on rough terrain, my shoe would slip sideways on my feet or even slip off. Too bad because they really are comfortable *and* have some height.
