Nice casual sandals. Easy to wear for a whole day. Holds onto your foot in several places. No real support in sole but I put pharmacy insoles in and have they stayed in place and feel good so far. I guess I'm turning into my mom. Not my dad since I haven't gone down the sock rabbit hole yet.
I was pleased with the workmanship and quality for the price! I never find sandals this style to fit my extra wide and flat size 14 feet but these fit fine! They were stiff but I put them on and got in the shower and that definitely helps form to my foot and loosen up quickly! I will buy these again in a another style! I bought a size 50 so I definitely sized up but if your foot is not wide and flat like mines you probably can follow the size chart.
I wanted these to be perfect! They are comfortable and look great, BUT the strap is too short to accommodate a high arch. I was unable to buckle them without cutting off the circulation to my feet. The strap needed another 1-2" in order to buckle properly and in a comfortable way. Bummed!
Really well made shoes, I was very pleased with the quality for the price. They have been a little bit of a b**** to break-in, but I can already tell they’re going to be really comfy once that’s over.
This is the first negative review I've written about a product purchased through Amazon but, the size chart is WAY off. Don't go by the U.S. sizes, use the one for UK. My shoe size is an 8.5, 8 in a sandal. I ordered according to the size chart, 40, as an 8.5 but I can't even get these things on, much less latch the buckle. I do love the dark, rich color but the sizing is atrocious. Will definitely be returning these for the correct size. For EU sizing, which these supposedly follow, I wear a 41/42 in a birkenstock so I was a little surprised with the size chart showing 40. Not happy about this purchase but I expect Amazon will get things corrected.
I was extremely disappointed with these shoes as there wasn't enough leather on the straps to adjust them to fit. Also, when the leather was stained, there were big gaps where they missed spots. My regular size is a 39 so I ordered a 40 to be sure they would fit and found they ran very small. Delivery was extremely fast but unfortunately the sandals couldn't be worn.
