Great shoe, will definitely be purchasing more like these.
I bought these for my daughter who has AFO hinged braces. We sized up 1.5 her normal shoe size because she will be wearing them with her braces. They are true to size, but if you are getting them for a child who wears foot orthoses I recommend measuring your child's foot with the braces on to help get the correct size. In the past we had issues trying to find a good shoe that fit AFO'S with the hinges, im so glad we found these. They are great for any child with or without braces. They are stylish, comfortable, and easy to put on. One thing we loved is that they have laces. We have bought many kinds of billys over the years but they never had laces you could tie/untie. As my daughter got older she wanted shoes that she could tie on her own, so this was a plus for us. They do zip and can be kept tied for easy use but if your child is learning or wanting to tie their shoes you have that option with these. I know it can be hard and frustrating it can be to find a good shoe esp that accommodates foot orthoses with Hinges. For us these billys are perfect, I highly recommend them.My daughter has only wore these twice but i Will definitely update after she wears them more.
