These Birdies Goldfinch flats really look and feel like handmade works of art. The woven detail is beautiful and gives them that artisanal, elevated look you usually see in much more expensive shoes. Great quality, but difficult to wear
First impression of these Birdies flats was wow these are so elegant looking. Very rich. There is attention to detail that extends even to the quilted padding inside. The bow sparkles with the light.I can't speak to the comfort because I couldn't keep these on. I ordered my size and they fit true to size. The pointy toe is very pointy and the toe box is quite shallow so while they fit I couldn't keep them on when I tried walking. That doesn't take away from the quality, there is no doubt that these are quality shoes. I think you just need the right feet to be able to wear flats properly.My issue and why I took off a star is taking the shoes out of the box the first thing I noticed was a bare spot on the point of the toe where the calf hair was worn away. If you pay this amount for a pair flats the last thing you want is a blemish.

Cute + excellent quality
Amazing quality + gorgeous ballet flats! These shoes are even better than I was expecting them to be. I’ll be completely honest, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the rhinestone bows on the front but they’re even prettier in person and look a lot better than I thought they would. They’re extremely comfortable and have a really nice, quilted, cushiony insole. Most of the ballet flats I’ve purchased/worn in the past haven’t been very comfortable but I didn’t have any issues wearing these throughout the day, they didn’t rub against the back of my heel or leave me with sore feet after walking/standing in them all day. I typically wear a size 8.5 or 9, I ordered these in a size 9 and they fit perfectly with a tiny bit of extra room like a size 9 typically would so they run true to size.

Cute but not easy to wear
These are cute and different shoes that stand out. They remind me of the kind that the cool older girls would wear when I was a little kid in the 80s.They are reasonably comfortable and well-made, as is expected from the Birdies brand, but they are somewhat awkward to wear.I don't have particularly wide feet but these are SO tapered that my feet don't really go to the end. At the same time, there is a little too much space above my feet (probably because they don't go to the end) so my feet are kind of shucking around in them and I keep stepping out of them. That said, if they were any smaller, my heels would hang off the back.All-in-all, I don't think I'm going to get a ton of use out these which is a bummer since they're cute and versatile.

Too narrow
Unfortunately these are too narrow for my medium width feet. I’m on the wider end of the medium width though if that helps. Too bad because these are cute summer mules and I wish I could wear them! Love the natural straw color! They are well made and the soles are cushioned, too.

If you normally round up a half size, don't.
These shoes are very premium and high quality! I love the leopard print design and the pointed toe. I am technically a size 9.5, but I order 10 in more than half of the shoes I get because it makes sure they will fit for one, and for two I don't mind a bit of extra to room. However, these will not fit if you go up a half size (my fault not the shoe's fault at all). I can't walk in them because my heel keeps coming out instead of the shoe moving/bending with my foot, since I rounded the half size up out of habit. Since this obviously isn't a sock kind of shoe, I'm hoping I can get a heel pad that I can insert that might be enough to allow me to wear them. They're incredibly comfortable due to the high quality brand and materials. Just wanted to warn others not to round your size even if you almost always do for other shoes.
