Lightweight, comfortable, affordable
Bought these sandals as an alternative to flip flops - something light and easy to slip on when running errands or getting coffee. I am a very narrow size 7 and the 37 fits perfectly (so I’d say they fit a half size larger than expected, which was perfect for me). They are CRAZY light - feel like nothing on your feet. I don’t expect them to be the most durable shoes of all time but for what I want them for they’re perfect. They look more expensive than what they are. Now I’m considering the leather ones if I can find them in the narrow fit.

Backpacking essential
I brought these on a recent four day backpacking trip in Yosemite as my camp shoes. They performed great in the rocky river beds as water shoes and as comfy slippers with some wool socks at night in camp. About 20 miles into the trip, my right hiking boot--out of nowhere--became incredibly painful to wear due to rubbing against my ankle bone. I couldn't find any alteration to make the boots comfortable, so I hiked out the last 7 miles in one boot and one Birkenstock EVA sandal. The sandal performed phenomenally on smooth and sometimes wet granite steps and inclines hiking out of Glen Aulin into Tuolumne Meadows.Sizing: my normal street shoe size is a 7.5 medium in women's. I sometimes wear a size 8 women's in hiking boots. In Birkenstocks, I wear EU 37 narrow in the Arizona EVAs (which is a 6-6.5 in US sizes) and a 37 normal in Mayari.

Everything sticks to them
They fit well and are comfortable. But everything sticks to them. The first day I wore them they were coated in dust from my driveway and dog’s pen. I’m a hairstylist and bought them for work but also on the first day of wearing them they got covered in cut hair pieces. Not a good feature.

Great for ‘Mom time’ & ‘Me time’
LOVE love these for running around with my two year old. I can wear them to the park, to water play, the grocery store or time to myself while dressing casually. My daughter can splash paint, food or water on them and they’re so easy to clean.The only bit that’s odd is the shape of my arch and the arch of the shoe aren’t a great match so the shoes squeak when I walk around.
