Best sandals I've ever owned. Why did I wait so long??

Bought my Birks some time in July and wore them around the house and anywhere I went for the few weeks prior to a trip to Iceland. The shoes were moderately comfortable at first and seemed to be bteaking in nicely. I took them to Iceland partially broken in and finished the trip like this. Best sandals I've ever owned. Like the Jesus asthetic, but love the utility of these bbs. Amazing traction when hiking trails and nature, even when it was wet. ❤️

see photo of cracked sole after a few months

i bought two pairs of these because i liked the soles , which are more rugged than the standards birks. But within 4 months both pair started cracking in the soles in the same location on all 4 sandals. do not buy. see pic.

Superior materials. I sport them with socks

I wear my Birkenstock sandals during and after work. Based on the materials of this premium sandal, they are superior but expensive. I am going to get a second pair of the new Birkenstock EVA sandles in black to kick around lesser active suburban places or around the house. I sport Birkenstocks with quality socks to add dimension and character. I enjoyed this quality sandle because it built for durability. I would buy them again and recommend it to others.

Softer step

These are fantastic. I have been wearing a regular style Birks for over a year and love them. I ordered these with the back strap to prevent some slipping but the killer feature here is the extra support on the arch due to the different sole configuration.. These are 'softer' to walk around on. Superb!
