I work at Chickfila and I stand outside all day and when I’m not outside all day, I’m obviously inside and these shoes are perfect. My feet never ache or feel sore after my long shifts. I’ve worked several 12 hour shifts in these and my feet never hurt afterwards. They are also loose all the way around the foot which I find very comfortable. Worth the money. Get them!
Love how easy they are to slip on and off and they are so comfortable. They’re brand new but already feel like I have been wearing them for months because they feel broken in the first time you put them on. Bought them for dental hygiene school and they are so easy to clean as well!
I had a lot of trouble ordering these shoes. I definitely have a beef with the sellers themselves but ill write that on their page. The shoes were lovely when I got them but nowhere near the size I thought I had ordered. According to the sizing chart, a size 8-8.5 is equivalent to their size 39 but when I got them they were huge, no where near my size. Since my grandma had ordered these early for Christmas I had missed the 30-day refund period, so I contacted the seller and they said they would exchange them. I proceeded to send them back, and after a month of not hearing a word from the seller we contacted them and they said they did not have my size. They never contacted me and probably never would have if we hadn't emailed them. Finally they agreed to just give me a refund (which did not include tax or any shipping and handling!). I am very disappointed in this seller and the sizing chart associated with these shoes. I would not recommend buying them from here. Do yourself a favor and just go buy them from a store.
I usually wear a size women’s 9 and had to return the first pair I ordered to exchange for an 8. The 8 fit perfectly so they do run large. I own a coffeehouse and am in my feet a LOT. My knees are terrible and I will be doing knee replacements at some point post pandemic. The pain is unbearable and even though I am exhausted after closing the shop I couldn’t rest because I could never get comfortable enough to stay asleep. The first night after wearing these shoes I had NO PAIN and I am now on my 5th consecutive day with no pain. They have been a godsend for me. On top of that they are comfortable, don’t slip and are waterproof (and coffee proof!). Any barista can tell you, your shoes is where EVERY spilled coffee, milk and flavor syrup ends up! No more ruined shoes!! I will wear these until they fall apart and will immediately replace them with the same at that time.
Good shoes, but they run large.
I have been a wearer of Birkenstocks for close to 30years and these shoes do not disappoint. The minute I put these shoes on my feet, my constant foot pain disappeared. I’m am on my feet on a concrete floor for up to 12 hours a day and with these shoes I am pain free for the first time in years! In true Birkenstock fashion, these shoes are roomy, as they should be so that your feet aren’t crunched up inside. 5 stars aren’t enough.
I had to completely rewrite my original review. I bought these for my mom who has retired several times only to unretire. She has a few problems with her feet and legs so I was looking for something for her to wear while on her feet at her job. I knew to order down on the sizes based on the other reviews and originally ordered a 7 in women's. She wears an 8.5 in New Balance 1040v7. The 7's arrived last week and were one to two inches too long. I ordered her a 6 in womens and returned the 7s. I hadn't talked to her for a few days so I thought the 6s worked for her. She did like how the shoes felt. But today, she sent me a text and asked if I would print a return label. She said the 6s came and they too are too big! There are size conversion charts, I used Zappos, that say a woman's US 8 is the same as a woman's UK 6 but it's not the case with these. I don't know whether to try a size 5 or not. I say this more often that I should have to. This shouldn't be this hard to do. I gave 3 stars because she really seems to like them a lot but someone has to fix the shoe size conversions or this becomes a very frustrating product to buy online.
