so soft and easy on the foot
Great sandal and with the soft bed is like have a comfy slipper on. Good fit and easy to adjust to any width of foot. This is about the 12th pair of Birkenstock's I have had. Love the sandal and the support that it gives my foot. Even wear when the weather is cooler with a pair of socks- they are so comfortable. Wet or dry weather does not effect the leather, just dries and then soften back to the original softness. They seem to last forever and I find I want several colors of the same sandal.

Ready for a level of unparalleled comfort?! Then get these birks! Traditional look and feel. I haven't been this comfortable since college, why did I ever stop wearing these?!?! The two straps are very comfortable and keep them secured. The build quality is very good. Have been wearing these all summer and still love putting them on every time. I fish a lot, and lot of traction on the boat, clean up easily too. Highly recommend.

Birks are the best.
Excellent quality shoes. The suede is very soft on the feet. Once properly adjusted,these shoes fit perfectly. Had my 1st pair of Birks for ten years and didn't want to give them up because they were so darn comfortable. Now own two pair (black & Brown suede). Look forward to many years of comfort with these as well.

The Birkenstock unisex soft footbed mocha suede sandal fits as comfortably as a well fitting chamois glove. They are even more comfortable than my other Birkenstocks which are all pretty comfortable. The color mocha suede looks better in the "sandal" than the picture and the copper toned buckles contrast well to the dark straps, adding a touch of color to the sandal. The only somewhatnegative is the floppyiness of the straps, otherwise a great looking and feeling sandal! I give it a five star rating Amy Wong 5 star

Birkenstock sandles are fantastic, I don't know of another company that produces this type of comfortable leather sandle. I have purchased three sandles from this company. Each time has always been a good experience, the company stands by its product.The most important aspect of a sandle is what is the sandle made of. Plastic sandles are a problem, because the chemicals within the sandle leach into the human body. These chemicals are carcinogenic, with leather it is different. Peoples feet perspire and the chemicals from the plastic sandles seep into the body. The chemicals cause cancer. Wearing leather sandles from Birkenstock helps my feet. I am grateful that Amazon carries this wonderful product.

I got the rotten apple
Well, I preface this review by saying that I have been a Birkenstock devotee for almost 20 years…I currently own about 14 pairs. So needless to say, I felt enough comfort with the product to order a few pair online. Well, I got the rotten apple. Actually bought 2 pair, one is perfect, the other is a NIGHTMARE!!! I wore them on a cruise, and got a horrible blister - shoe fits perfectly, so I thought maybe they just needed to be "broken in". Just got back from a month in FL, on the first day got 2 horrible blisters much worse than the first time I tried to wear them. Since they do fit perfectly, there must be some defect in the assembly. Since these are the really nice and expensive ones, I have been 'saving' them for 'special occasions' (dressy sandal occasions) and am past my return period. So BEWARE. BEWARE, BEWARE!!
