Super comfy, they feet my arch/etc really well. The leather is very thick and has a sheen that isnt too shiny but also isnt too dull. They clean up well, too. The only downside to these shoes (that is worth it) is that the new leather is kinda squeaky and rubs against itself when you walk. I believe that given more time they will break in, as the noise has diminished some. I may resort to oiling thr areas that make noise (near buckles).
My favorite Birkenstocks ever! So cute with the red on the bottom. Size 38 is the perfect fit for my 7.5 foot. These have the soft footbed and nonslip grip tread. Straight out of the box, they were very comfortable. So I can’t imagine how comfortable they’ll be when I break them in. They do squeak a little, if that bothers you. But I love them!
First, I must admit that I returned these but it wasn't easy decision. I have two pair of well worn Birkenstocks, Camden style, with soft beds, one in black and one in camel brown. I'm not sure when I bought them, but at least 13-14 years ago. The black pair is styled just like these but without the red stripe.These fit well but they were, as new leather shoes tend to be, a bit stiff. And they squeaked a bit when I walked. They would take some breaking in and I have foot problems (bunions and low arches). So my choice was to keep these and pitch my old ones, or to have major repair on the old ones.In the end, I opted to get my old ones repaired though it may cost about the same as buying these new (they need a whole new foot bed). I had found myself avoiding these new ones because of the breaking in discomfort. I've gotten 13+ years older and my foot problems are worse than when I last had to do that.Tough decision for me. If you don't mind a breaking in period, these are great Birkenstocks and I think you'll like them. The red stripe is kinda cool and they seemed as well made as any other Birks.
Nice looking and very comfy
They were exactly as expected and so comfy. Only problem is I may not wear normal people shoes again. I do normally have a slightly wide foot and these read narrow but I think that's the brand.
When I ordered this shoe it was not advertised as a narrow width. The shoe I receive is a narrow width. There was no option to choose a width and with the dicription of the shoe I was lead to believe this shoe would be a regular width size 37. Totally does not fit my foot.
Perfect fit, and amazing comfort!! I work in surgery and am standing in one spot a lot of my day.. these are the best shoes I’ve ever purchased for work. PRO TIP: It takes a week or two to break them in, so don’t be discouraged if your feet still hurt the first several times you wear them! I promise once your feet get used to them, you will be amazed.
