FAR too small, even in comparison to their other shoes.

Before buying these I owned another pair of laced black diamond climbing shoes that were MUCH more comfortable than these! I asked for them in size 9 ( usually I get 8 1/2)) from the reviews I read but they were still extremely tight and impossible to climb successfully in. I am going to try to continue to make these work so my 100$ spent will not go to waste but my hopes are low. If things get better I may update this and fix my review.

Size

So I bought a pair of these and they were going to be my first climbing shoes I was super hyped when they got in they looked amazing. However after taking them out of the box they were like 4 sizes to small. All the shoes I have rented were size 10, now I know that when you are buying shoes especially climbing shoes not all size 10s are made equal. That being said....I had a 9.5 on my foot for my regular shoes and it was almost 2inches shorter than the 9.5 I had on. I checked the label thinking maybe I ordered a size 10 in womens by mistake or thats what I got sent but the inside for sure said size 10 in mens size 11 in womens. I really have no complaints about the shoe itself like they were honestly awesome but I couldnt buy these because after the size being that far off I didnt want to have to return them 5 times to get the size right.

Break them in.

Very aggressive which I wanted, I got mine half a size down from my street size and they were a little difficult to get on at first but just get in them, break them in in a couple sessions and you’ll be good. But don’t plan on walking around all day in them, definitely meant for one problem at a time, or single pitch at a time, but yeah great aggressive shoes.

Decent shoe, really hard to size

Holy cow, these shoes are small. I normally wear a 10 in street shoes, and my previous climbing shoes have all been 10 or 10.5 (Mad Rocks and Sportivas). I got these for Christmas and what I had seen said they fit true to size (although it seems that that has changed since I got them) so I got 10s. Couldn't even get them on. Returned and got 10.5s. They somehow felt exactly the same. Returned and got 11s. Feel pretty much exactly the same, but at least I can endure them for the length of time it takes to do one bouldering problem. Was so tired of the return process that I just gave up and I'm going to try to stretch them a bit. There's nowhere nearby where I can try on a bunch of shoes so it's always a gamble for me. I'd recommend going at least a size up if not 1.5 sizes. But anyway, the rubber feels good. The angle of the sole is pretty nice. I'm sure they're good shoes. But dang they small.
