Love mine.
I ordered the Black High Heel Boots For Women Platform Combat Booties Lace Up Goth Chunky Heeled Ankle Boot with Zipper, and I just love my boots. I have skinny, narrow feet, and they fit me perfectly. Because they are narrow in the front, if your feet are wide, I would probably order larger. Mine look just like the pictures, and I ordered the ones with buckles on top. That was an excellent decision, because I was worried they were going to be too loose on top which they were, but since I have the ones with buckles I can make them tighter. I basically tightened them on the tightest notch that the shoe would be able to reach without disfiguring the shoe, and it closes the gap for me. The straps were a little bit tricky for me to figure out, because they are actually incredibly long. They are folded and overlapped in a certain way that makes them tuck under and face towards the ground. So, if you look at my pictures you will see the strap hangs down, and it does not attach to the shoe. Because I had to tighten them to the max, it's just too long for me where I don't like the strap hanging down. However, I just cut them shorter and used some double stick tape to hold it taught with the boot. I cut it just short enough where if I decide I want to let it out a notch. I still can, but the rest I just threw out. I modify things often based on my taste, so it doesn't bother me, and it equally still looks good without being cut it's just what I wanted to do. Mine seem to be well made, and they are incredibly easy to walk in. They look really good, and because they are chunky heels you can dress them up or down. I have regular combat boots, and I am going to swap them out fully with these because I love these so much more as you still get the effect but it's more feminine. Now, besides loving the adjustable strap on top to make these tighter, mine also have laces and a high quality zipper. The zipper is what makes these even better since I don't have to worry about them being high maintenance just make everything as tight as I want them and then from here on out they are so easy to get in and out of. I apparently didn't lace mine up all the way for the photos, but they lace to the top. I think they look the best leaving the top two holes open since the strap is there. They are comfortable for me to wear, but I can imagine if I wore these for very long periods of time they may not be that comfortable since there really isn't any cushion. I'm not bothered about it, because all I need to do is add some insoles which I have many. These are non-slip and have a really good grip, however, they can scuff up the floor with that back heel so be mindful about that. I just set them on my white counter for photos and they scuffed the counter. Because these are thicker boots, they may be better for cooler or warmer weather, however, I would wear them year round. When I received these they were presented in a "good energy" kind of way, so I appreciate that. Overall, I don't have any complaints, especially with how adjustable my particular pair is so they are tight around my ankles, thank you.

Great for a costume
We ordered these boots for my wife to pair with her Halloween costume (Pirate wench). It was surprisingly difficult to find shoes or boots that worked well with the costume and while these have a bit more of a goth feel, they actually coordinated great with the costume.They were ordered in my wife's usual size and they seemed to fit well, true to size. Comfort... well... they're heels so by default, they aren't that comfortable but in the microcosm of heels, especially heels of this height, they are like heaven. The chunky heel offered a ton more stability over a typical stiletto, and again, paired well with the overall theme of the outfit.Construction-wise, they seem to be made quite well. At the end of the day, though, these probably aren't a go-to everyday kind of shoe... more for just special occasions and events, so we do anticipate them lasting for quite a while.

Down size
If I were to order these again I would half size down. My normal shoe size is 6.5, that is the size of orders and they are half size to big.They look even more beautiful in-person. The quality of the shoe is great. Other then fitting large they are super comfortable.
