So cute for little girls just getting into ballet. We get compliments on them all the time. I was worried about the glitter when ordering... A tiny bit of glitter shakes off when you first take them out of the bag but that’s it. The glitter doesn’t crack or continue to flake off like some glitter slippers or shoes do! This is actually the second pair of these I’ve ordered bc we outgrew the first pair after about a year. And great price!
These made my five year old so happy, and all her friends at ballet class loved them too! They fit true to size in length, but are wide and must be cinched down by tying the bow tightly. Not as great of a fit and quality as the traditional leather slippers, but when your five you really just care that they sparkle and make you feel pretty. The glitter does come off on things, but overall I’m pleased with this purchase.
I purchased these big based on reviews but they were really big. My daughter is toddler 6-7 so I purchased an 8. They are pretty big but I can sinch them down with drawstring so they fit her. I'm glad she will have plenty of room to grow. We haven't used them for dance class yet.update: They were adorable for dance class but they were very slippery on the dance studio floor. Compared to other kids who had Bloch solid black ballet slippers that had a lot more grip.
They run small so am returning these and buying one size up. I hope they fit!
So I ordered these to go with my daughters costume. So the shoes did fit. However the quality is not the best there's no arch support. And when I put them on her feet. Some of the thread came loose. But they held for that one day of trick or treating. I wouldn't recommend these. Their just okay.
While looking for new ballet shoes, my 4 year old spotted these and just had to have them. They are sparkly and cute. They look just as pictured. She wears a size 8 street shoe, so I purchased the 8.5 hoping for a good fit. They are a little wide on her narrow foot, but otherwise fit well with a smidge of room to grow. She says she loves them. We are pleased so far, and hope they hold up for her entire ballet season.
